Lovely location, great staff and food.

Needs updating a little bit - shower wasn’t great and had peeling paint on ceiling, and lock on bathroom door didn’t work.

6 am fire alarm 😕 and slightly shabby shower room

Location was beautiful.

Fire alarm woke us at 6am, no staff available, guests left outside alone not knowing what was going on. Finally told we could enter. Alarm went off twice more. Poor communication from staff. Went down to breakfast early, staff laughing that we had all been woken up. Rare night away from children was disappointed that it was not restful. On check out nothing said by staff which was poor.

Lovely outside space, gorgeous food, friendly atmosphere, very clean & comfortable room, modern bathroom.

Rooms are too warm and the bathroom needs a little updating - mould around the edges

Lovely old 17th century former hunting lodge. Plenty of character and charm. Great views The food was excellent and the staff very kind, polite, helpful and nothing was too much trouble.

The only fault was finding the correct turning to the drive in the dark. We had to do a U-Turn or two 😄
