The idea of staying on the common The meal at tea time was lovely, The staff was friendly. The manager did a partial refund on our complaint the next day.

Our room. It was very unpleasant. The room was up about 3. Sets of tight stairs. The faculties didn’t work eg tv. The shower head was broken. The bathroom was tiny. No fan. The bar was expensive when we asked for a Margarita they gave us a sickly syrup one, we ended up leaving it

Ruhige Lage und Personal sehr freundlich. Die Kühe leben da frei und laufen um das Hotel herum. Wir hatten das Zimmer mit dem ganz neuen Bad und waren sehr zufrieden.

Unsere Freunde hatten ein Zimmer mit einem sehr alten Bad und das lies zu wünschen übrig.

The staff were all very welcoming, polite and friendly, the food in the restaurant in the evening was very good and the beers were also good. The lounge bar area was comfortable for relaxing in, and the bed was comfortable. There was plenty of off-road parking around the hotel.

The parking areas were potholed and muddy, whilst commonland cows roamed between the cars twice a day, though they did not have horns, so no damage done. Some of the furniture in the bedroom was old and well-used, and the joints on one of the chairs were loose, making the chair wobbly. We thought the restaurant prices were a little high, and there was no offer of cereal, fresh fruit or croissants etc for breakfast.

The room was tired overall but was clean. The whole place could do with an update and makeover.

We’ve been several time before and it’s very well positioned for our needs. The staff are extremely pleasant and the food in the restaurant is pretty good.

Having gone for a superior room we had high hopes that it would be better than the standard room, however our room (no 1) was very tired - with scuffed paintwork and blown glass in the windows contributing to a rather scruffy appearance. The bathroom was particularly tired. That said, we get it - the hospitality industry is up against it these days and many establishments simply can’t justify sky-high refurbishment costs.
