Garden Route Game Lodge

Wir hatten die absolut schönste Zeit in diesem Hotel! Das Essen war fantastisch – abwechslungsreich, frisch und auf höchstem Niveau. Die Zimmer sind wunderschön eingerichtet, sehr komfortabel und blitzsauber, sodass man sich sofort wohlfühlt. Das absolute Highlight war die Safari: Wir haben tatsächlich alle Big 5 gesehen und dazu viele weitere Tiere. Unser Guide „Snacks“ war einfach der Beste – unglaublich kompetent, herzlich und mit so viel Leidenschaft dabei. Alles in allem war es ein unvergessliches Erlebnis – wir können dieses Hotel und die Safari wirklich nur wärmstens empfehlen und kommen garantiert wieder!

Es wird mit den Big 5 geworben, einen Leoparden gibt es dort aber schon seit Jahren nicht mehr lt Auskunft eines Ranger. Unserer Terrasse war voller Vogeldreck (sicher seit Tagen nicht gereinigt), es gab keine Polster für die Terrassenstühle. Die Game Drives sind auf dem Level eins großen Zoos. Separierte, durchaus sehr große, Gehege, aber um die Elefanten oder Nashörner ohne Schnellstraße im Hintergrund aufzunehmen muss man ein wenig warten. Der Service ist sehr gut! Die Leute super freundlich! Insgesamt sehr Familiengeeignet und eher nicht für einen echten Safariurlauber.

WIFI in Zimmet 6 nicht existent. Abendessen war gut, Frühstück sehr gut. Sehr gute Game Drives. Tiffany im Restaurant sehr guter Service.

Brilliant Safari guide calked Loaan

Excellent établissement avec un accueil dès la sortie de voiture pour apporter les bagages en chambre dans la seconde. Tout le personnel est aux petits soins et souriant. Pour les safaris la guide Robyn est parfaite dans ses explications et très drôle. Petit bémol : au restaurant les plats sont recherchés mais un peu lourds. Bonne note : on peut rester profiter de la piscine et de toutes les installations après le Check out.

Great facility. Looks exactly like the photos. Staff very friendly and knowledgeable. The 2 safaris that we went on were exceptionally good. The jeep driver/guide was knowledgeable & explained everything that he was asked & more. Couldn’t fault him. Would definitely recommend

This was a great family vacation. I would recommend it if your little ones are at least 4 years old (or older) and can be occupied without screens on the drives. The drives range from 1.5-3ish hours. We did 2 nights, which meant 4 drives -- and that was the perfect amount of time for us. Easy drive over from Cape Town. Sune, our driver, was great! Our young kiddo was the only kid in our group, and she did a great job of interacting with him and teaching him (and us!) lots of facts about the animals

An outstanding game reserve with a variety of excellent accommodation. Food excellent new bar outstanding.Pool area luxurious. Game game drives are breathtaking a must for any bucket list

It was good but on the videos they make it seem alot bigger and as if you will see more animals
