The Greenmill was awesome

We could not stay. We called the front desk to be moved to another room, apparently there were no more rooms available. Then we called again to say the carpet was still damp, and because I am highly allergic to mold/mildew the smell and air quality was making me sick. Around 10:30 pm I talked to the front desk and returned our keys and left. Later, we realized in our rush to leave, we forgot one of our bags in the bathroom.

Staff were friendly, responsive. However, the pool stayed open beyond 10 pm and was very noisy. Also, the room was filled with mosquitos!

Loved the pool area for hanging out with large groups and the games there as well. The rooms are small but had everything we needed.

An overall good stay. Ceiling repair needs to be done in the room we stayed in. Really didn't care for the contour of the floor in the shower. Its floor was not level. I believe it was designed to slope toward the middle. Not sure why. A 'hum' to the refrigerator. Pleasant stay, good host.

I needed a place to stay for an event locally. I was unfamiliar with the area as I was coming in from the East Coast. The Best Western had a restaurant and a pool as well as a weight room, so that's why I picked that hotel. Let me first say that my room was spotless and in great shape. The beds were extremely comfortable! I ate at the restaurant several times, and although they don't always serve breakfast, that was OK because there is a Perkins restaurant outside of the hotel (they share the same parking lot!) I can't say enough about the staff. The staff at the front desk of the hotel were so helpful and pleasant. I was here for five days so I got to know them pretty well. The staff at the restaurant were also helpful and incredibly friendly. The hotel was filled with information on all things local as well as books on Minnesota and South Dakota.It was easy access off the highway and definitely within my budget. I highly recommend this hotel!
