Rydges Southbank Townsville

Location very convenient

Townsville was an overnight stop for us on a long drive up the coast. Easy to find, and secure private parking was a bonus. The room was clean and comfortable with a good shower. One really positive aspect was the availability of gluten free products at breakfast (almost everything!) which was most unexpected and welcome.

Excellent place, staff welcoming and room very spacious

Well situated hotel in the city and staff were very professional and helpful. While the bathroom needs updating and sun blinds on the window would be useful, the room was otherwise comfortable (bed was good quality) and very clean. Parking was ok although the covered parking area was at a premium. We loved the breakfast offered (good selection of continental and cooked items so spoilt for choice) in the lobby cafe too, especially the barista coffees! Recommend hotel for convenience too as close to restaurants, Stadium and CBD.

Great location really lovely staff and breakfast was great

Room was tired, shower curtain had a red stain/mold around the bottom of it and door to the bathroom was coming apart. My grandson found a toy under one of the beds so don’t know the last time the beds were moved and cleaned under.

It’s old and needs updating especially the bathrooms, and the pool was freezing

The beds were very comfy. Location is great and we enjoyed the breakfast in the morning. Good parking aswell.
