La Ensenada Beach Resort

Although the property is located in a beautiful bay and although the restaurant offered decent food and the room was of decent size and comfortable, I was there for business I had to suffer the absolute lack of internet access. They say they offer WiFi but that is a scam. No internet at all, terrible, since I needed internet for work. If you are traveling for business, do not stay in this place, you will regret it.

they gave me the wrong key number tried the assign room could not get in the key provided was the last room away from the beach when all of the rest was empty

This All Inclusive beach resort located in Tela, Honduras is the best place to stay and have all your needs pampered! All staff is willing to help no matter your request, the food is abundant, different every day, delicious, fresh and always having sea food included. Really nice surprises with musical shows, starting with Garifunas dances, Mariachis and other shows (at least in my visit). We really enjoyed our VILLA with 3 cable tvs, complete kitchen, 3 rooms, central A/C , 3 bathrooms. Located near the restaurant, two huge pools and beach in just a few steps. (BUILDING #1) So many things to do like mini golf course, ping pong, billiards for free and for a price the banana boat trip and specially a helicopter trip for 10 minutes around the area. Couldn't use the SPA, but the comments from other guests were all good! So I strongly recommend to stay in this resort if you want to take your family to a fun, delicious and relaxing vacation in this beautiful 5 stars country, HONDURAS! Thanks to Joann, All Ana's,Jayro,Mauda,Angelica and all personnel from the front desk, housekeepers, security agents, restauratnt staff, pool staff, bar staff and beach staff.

Everything was fine can’t really complain much. Only complaints are cleaning does need to be more thorough. Seems as if they only spot cleaned before we arrived. The water was always dirty however. Not sure if it was because it was raining but anytime we opened the faucet and no matter how long we left it running, water was dirty. Food was not 10/10 but it was good.

Nice calm location, clean beaches and super nice staff.

a little secluded from the main city so you do have to walk down the beach a bit or go by car if you do want to look around but other then that great

Excellent hotel and accommodations. The food was very good but could use a little more variety from day to day. The room we were in was excellent. The fridge was working when we arrived, but someone promptly came and fixed it. There is only one location near the beach for towel pickup/drop off if you are using theirs which isn't convenient if you want to go in the smaller pool

I would recommend this place. It’s located at one of the best beaches in Tela. Jairo, one of the waiters was very attentive with a very friendly smile. The place is big so you don’t feel crowded at all. The dock is a plus to see the sunsets.
