La Ensenada Beach Resort

Hands down the staff is friendly. The beach is clean and not so many vendors. The food was okay... wish there were different food variety specially for kids.... possibly different deserts!!!! The rooms are large... and comfortable The villa i stayed in had a washer and drier... and that really helped.

The buildings is showing its age... bar was okay. When the hotel is full you will definitely have to wait for a drink. . .

This "resort" is more like a local motel with a swimming pool and a buffet. The property is tired and in need of remodeling. The food is poor quality, and the breakfast and afternoon snacks consist of what is probably leftovers from the previous night's dinner. The peacocks run rampant and defecate all over the property. The lounge chairs are mismatched and broken. We couldn't check out until the housekeeper certified that we hadn't broken or stolen anything from our room, even though management had our credit card on file. Lastly, they sprayed some kind of chemical must/fog to repel mosquitoes while guests were in the pool. This couldn't possibly be healthy for the patrons!

I went with my family as part of our summer holidays in Central America. Even though we paid the all inclusive rate, I had to argue a couple of times with the waiters for an apple juice for my children, they said they only had some local made juices, and it was when I asked to talk to the manager that I got a commercially branded apple juice (they said it was reserved for mixing cocktails). I had to call 4 times to the reception to get hand towels. Food was mainly local and poor quality, and not all the choices were available during every service. Sometimes they said they wouldn't be restocking the trays. Again we had to complain to the manager. It's frustrating when you have to complain to the manager constantly to get a standard service. Completely overpriced for the service and quality we obtained.

The location was perfect. Nice atmosphere. Loved the pool and beach.

The restaurant staff. Only one girl was attentive and would bring us drinks when she was working in the restaurant. Everyone else didn’t even look at us. We had to constantly get up to ask for drinks and napkins. Very bad service.

I recommend this place to anyone to visit for a nice vacation is a very nice

Friendly staff.

The villa was clean and spacious. The beach was in a good location. The food was plentiful.

The pool was hot and small to accommodate many people. The pool area had dog and bird fecal as well as dirty in most areas. The drinks were limited in variety- only a few types of beers. The check in and check out were in different places. The wifi - although free was unavailable throughout the property- limited access in certain areas. Not enough beach towels. Park pass - bad idea to offer to people that are not staying at the property.
