The hotel looks like an old colonial Portuguese house. The rooms do not disappoint with their revolving fans and efficient air conditioning. The staff are friendly and helpful. Evening dinner is good value and extremely tasty and the cocktails are excellent (especially the caiprinha!).
Good service. The room was well maintained and it has all the facilities in it. It has so many attractions nearby. The hotel has a very quite atmosphere where you can have peaceful nights. Food is average but in many places its the same, I will opt for it for sure next time,
hotel staff is very friendly. rooms are very clean and bed sheets and curtains do not stink unlike other hotels. we booked a junior room for two people. breakfast is not good. options are many but the taste is not good. we never had lunch or dinner here so no idea about it. overall experience was nice excluding the breakfast and the coffee and tea that you order in room service.
The only downfall is the hotel policy on non registered guests not being allowed to come into hotel property. A good friend couldn't come to the bar or pool deck on the property.
The Casa Severina is a very comfortable small hotel. Throughout our stay we enjoyed outstanding service from very friendly staff who somehow managed to balance being there to provide everything you needed whilst at the same time not being intrusive . It is a short walk to the beach which has some great shacks and everything you need to relax. It is not a big resort type hotel, only 19 rooms, the menu is therefore fairly limited, but when you are in somewhere like Calungute, who wants to eat in the Hotel. We found some incredible restaurants a very short taxi ride away. If you are staying for some time you may wish to consider upgrading the room but our standard room was fine for what we wanted. The pool is adequate although we only used it once as we enjoyed the beach. Overall a very special place.
We stayed 5 nights and enjoyed this hotel very much. The property is immaculate and our room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was very pleasant and accommodating. The only very minor annoyance was the wi-if signal was very weak in our room and the breakfast buffet did not have many options. But that would not stop me from staying here again. Overall a very nice experience.
This hotel is just perfect: lovely rooms, very beautiful site (in particular its garden and outdoor restaurants), very nice, friendly and efficient staff. If you go to Calangute, this place is a MUST.

We were very well taken care of. Casa Severina has a very homey feel. The staff is wonderful. The location is excellent. The food was nice. The only improvement I would say they could make is that the front desk clearly was not knowledgeable about local things to do. Everything was closer than they suggested that it was!
Extremely charming and chilled out property, resembling a Goan hacienda, that's a few minutes walk to the beach. (Note: The main calangute beach is farther away). The staff are very friendly and eager to help. Tip: Try to get a room on the upper floor.
