Sunset Resort - Adults Only

Fantastic resort. Exceptionally well maintained and resourced. Friendly helpful staff at all times. Our upstairs room above the pool was superb in all regards. The location right on the water was just ‘the best’ and the snorkelling right out front was pretty decent. Thoroughly recommend this place. It’s excellent value for money and we’d absolutely stay there again.

First time at this hotel and definitely won’t be the last! Excellent friendly, attentive and helpful staff, especially a shout out to Josie and Helena (Hailey) who always were smiling and had perfect chat with our sundowners! The resort is immaculate, and very well maintained. Kathy and her team were so welcoming and we could not fault a thing. Our fourth visit, and as good as ever. The guest facilities are attractive, well presented and functional. The staff are first class - competent, attentive and helpful. The in-situ restaurant is excellent. The gardens are beautiful and well-tended. As guests we feel like prized members of the extended family. We shall be back!

This R15 beachfront resort is well laid out with beautifully kept gardens. It has two pools, a bar and a restaurant with good quality food and fun special occasion nights with entertainment. Rooms and facilities have everything to make your stay relaxing and enjoyable. The thing that really makes all the difference are the friendly and passionate staff who are always upbeat and are clearly proud of the Sunset Resort. Many staff have been at the resort for years and regard it as a home away from home and guests get the same feeling. Many other guest were on repeat stays and we too, hope to visit again.

The staff and management were fantastic everyone was on the same page and made sure the customers were cared for.The Beach front rooms were wonderful.

Everything was amazing. The staff were wonderful. The unit was very well equiped. The facilities in the outside areas were well maintained and clean.

Staff are really helpful and friendly. We loved our stay. However, Air NZ cancelled our flight back so we had to cut our stay short. The hotel did not want to refund acouple of nights stay. I feel this does make booking with Sunset resort a risk. No one seems to really care. This oncludes Sunset Resort, Air Nz and insurance. Flight centre who we booked this holiday through havent been great either.

Fantastic location, great beach out front. It's an adults only facility. Tropical breakfast included and shuttles to and from airport (need to pay). It's close to airport and bus stops right outside. Rooms are fully equipped if you want to cook anything. Two great swimming pools, happy hour, staff wonderful and helpful with booking various things like transport. There is a small store, alcohol shop and bakery very close if you need supplies or town is a very short bus ride away for a bigger supermarket.
