Hotel Bären

Schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen....von außen noch ansehnlich. Hatten ein sehr kleines Zimmer.

Schönes Hotel, freundliches Personal. Shops, Banken, Post etc. direkt um die Ecke. Die Innenstadt Heidelberg ist ca. 25 Minuten entfernt mit der Bahn (23). Die Haltestelle ist direkt vor der Tür. Zum Bahnhof (24) muss man umsteigen in Rohrbach Süd. In Rohrbach Süd gibt es auch Verbindungen den Berg hoch zum Boxberg/Nähe EMBL.

Booking was very easy on line, and hotel position perfect for transport on tram or bus. parking facility a big plus too. Staff was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Rooms practical with comfortable beds and bedding. Breakfast was lovely with a large variety of cereal/fruit/cheese/yoghurt etc Only complaint is the size of the soap that is provided, which is so small it is a joke and falls apart with the first contact with water All in all we had a lovely stay and would recommend it highly

Für eine Nacht auf Geschäftsreise absolut in Ordnung. Lage, Anbindung, Preis-Leistung, Zimmer stimmten. Evtl. nächstes Mal wieder.

2 nuits dans cet hôtel calme à 6 km du vieux heidelberg . Petit déjeuner correct pour 7.80 euros .personnel tres sympa ,bonne adresse !

Sehr nette Begruessung von einer sehr professionellen dabei aber auch aeusserst attraktiven Rezeptionistin. Ich gehe davon aus das diese Hotel von privat gefuehrt wird; demnach sind einige Annehmlichkeiten eine Marriott Hotels nicht vorhanden... Aber wer braucht schon um 4 Uhr morgens eine Flasche Champagner :-) Ich fand das Hotel super...die Naehe zu Heidelberg sehr komfortabel und direkt um die Ecke gibt es noch eine gute Bar und zwei Baecker fuer einen Kaffee... Der Preis war im Vergleich zu Heidelberger Hotels dieser Klasse einfach unschlagbar....Ich wuerde sofort wieder buchen wenn es mich wieder juckt ein paar Tage in Heidelberg yu verbringen

Es war alles ok - wir hatten ein sehr schönes, grosses Zimmer.

We arrived late and got a good service and a the clerk even gave us the short time parking space in front of the hotel, wich was very nice for us with all our luggage and tiredness. The room is fairly big but not big enough for the furniture in it. It was a hassle to open closet dores and windows without bumping in to things. But what got on my nerves was that the bed was awfull because I didn't get much time to sleep for all the noice it made. One small move and the the bed would crack terribly. So much for sleep that night. The morning after I complained and the clerk was a bit sorry but belittled the problem wich was dissapointing and did nothing to compensate.

We stayed here for one night to break a long motorway journey. The hotel was an easy drive from the motorway. The hotel staff were very welcoming and helpful. The full breakfast was great. One small disadvantage was that the curtains did not fully cover the window. We used clothes pegs to stretch them out. A big advantage was that there was a large IKEA store nearby with a restaurant. Our three course dinner that night was the least expensive of our whole trip.

Quiet, clean, breakfast available on site. Friendly helpful staff. Coffee shop an bar nearby. German feel.
