Good hotel but no lifts.
Staff were friendly and room was big. Breakfast was pretty good too! Had a great experience
Stayed here for 2 nights while I was attending social events in Glasgows west end. Hotel is ideally situated for the buzzing Byres Road and Great Western Road eateries, coffee shops, bars and artisan shops. The hotel itself although looking tired and characterless, was clean and functional. My room was clean and spacious, as was my bathroom. Have to say the bed was really comfortable and had choice of pillows. Breakfast was good and there was plenty of choice, served by polite waiting staff. The receptionist who was duty for most of my stay was very pleasant and helpful too when I needed help with directions etc...which was more than once! The hotel owner/manager should show her the appreciation she deserves...the way he spoke (bellowed) to her in the presence of hotel guests was pretty appalling in my view.
Hotel staff were very nice and went far above to be helpful. Breakfast was delicious.
Couldn't shave unless I scalded myself of used cold water.
Nice Hotel close to University of Glasgow, only 5/10 min walk to subway onto Glasgow City centre. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Great location, free hot breakfast and friendly staff. The botanical gardens were right down the street and the bus & subway were just a short walk. Laundry, pubs and coffee all close.
Our only problem, No elevator and we were on the top floor with luggage
No parking like advertised plus had trouble getting to our room as work men and their tools and plastic covers on the floor until 6.
nice inexpensive place. Nicely redone with great breakfast. Just wish they spent more on the matresses
