Escaping back to nature. Especially being forced to switch off due to no signal which was amazing!!

The kids beds being up the stairs with no gate. 3 year old made me nervous being up there.

"Digital detox, in rainforest, near many beautiful waterfalls. Splash out on the 2 bedroom options!"

6.0

Great location to visit local waterfalls. Friendly and helpful owners. We stayed in the one bedroom Firefly accomodation, which is not a cabin on stilts but a converted container on wheels with a raised veranda - a very clever conversion, great small space design. Well equipped kitchen. Nice shower. Composting toilet, no issues, no odour. Nice to have a barbecue and outdoor dining facilities. The firepit was brilliant to have. My own fault, but I didn't realise that the one bedroom option was so different to the 2 bedroom cabin on stilts options, our accommodation wasn't quite what we were expecting.

Zero WiFi or mobile service in the accomodation. If you are a reader no issues, but if you are a 'surfer' this is maybe not the spot for you. It was quite cool and dull in the clearing when we stayed, and bar 2 bush turkeys we did not see any of the bird life, although we could hear some in the canopy. The nights were about 15 degrees in May. The firepit was both entertainment and a lovely heat source, and the reverse a/c heated the cabin no problem. The bed and bed linen felt rather damp, due to the rainforest location, but the bed was comfortable. In Firefly the bed is the width of the container, so it is not possible to access the bed from both sides, but there is a beautiful view of the trees from both windows beside the bed.

Loved the location and the peaceful atmosphere

You can no longer have a fire which was one of the main things we were looking forward to. So if you are hoping to have a fire I’d look elsewhere. It should be stated somewhere that you can’t have a fire anymore. The blinds wouldn’t come down in the bathroom. You are in the rainforest but people can still see in especially at night with a light on as our bathroom looked onto the driveway, Floors needed a good clean. I think it was very overpriced. Staff were lovely and the kids loved the animals.

"Beautiful surroundings, cute home but for the premium cost we expected more attention to detail."

7.0

Tiny home was very private and comfortable inside. The surroundings were spectacular.

Bathroom shower had mould that could easily have been wiped off and the shower vent was dirty. The private track to the river had not been cleared for awhile and there is wait a while vine hanging onto the tracks in a few places, this was ok for us as we knew what it was, but if you are unaware not good. Also, there was a gympie gympie plant at the viewing area, once again if you aren't aware of this plant if you rub against it, very painful.

"It was a relaxing, comfortable and very beautiful stay in the middle of a rainforest, just loved it!"

10.0

We really enjoyed the privacy, the location and the serenity.

It was a bit damp as it was raining alot so getting the towels dry was a difficult. However we know no one can control the weather and we had prepared for that anyhow and took a couple of our own towels just in case.

"The location was absolutely fantastic. The hosts were great. The wildlife entertained us."

Staying in a secluded place within a rainforest. Absolutely loved it.

No way to get our towells dry before next useage. A dehumidifier or spare set may have been a simple solution.
