Sea Stone Hotel

The location of this hotel is excellent for the buses, beach and town. The were friendly. There is a lift to the rooms with just a few stairs to negotiate. The room was spacious. The rooms were cleaned daily and fresh towels were given daily. Handy fridge.

The hotel is very dated. Definitely not 4 star. The room we were in was a signature room. Although the room was spacious the two fans provided did not really help when the days were hot it really needs to be air conditioned. The safe provided is only suitable for small items the largest being a small Kindle we could not fit an iPad inside. The shower was a good power but the bath had chips in the base, the whole bathroom suite is old The carpets are old and need to be cleaned or changed completely. Instead of two televisions which are definitely not needed in one room it would be better to have this area as a dressing area with a mirror and sockets for a hairdryer. There is an outside area to smoke which would be much more pleasant with decent flooring and furniture. Also the ashtrays needed emptying. The breakfast provided has a very basic choice just cereal and a plate of croissants with sauces and jams. Tea or coffee and juice. There were only three hot choices we had omelette which was overcooked on the outside. There was no choice of fruit. Ants were in the basket with the jam. We went elsewhere for breakfast on the second day. The air conditioning was not effective in the restaurant area.

We have been visiting for many years on the cheerleading weekend at the BIC the position of the hotel is perfect and the staff very helpful and friendly

Because it is a cheer weekend the prices skyrocket so although not directly the hotels fault as it is supply and demand but the prices in Bournemouth climb every year and again a Bournemouth issue for the age of the hotels but there is no air con which nowadays is a big issue

No major complaints, can't complain for how cheap it is.

Pokój ok, było czysto, z fajnym widokiem na morze, śniadanie też ok. Obsługa bardzo miła i pomocna.

Minusy, to brak parkingu dla gości, oraz brak klimatyzacji w pokoju. Miłym dodatkiem byłby też prywatny balkon, aby zapalić cygara.

We were right by reception so a-lot of noise with people coming and going we had our four year old with us so she kept waking up , noise outside can’t be helped but perhaps a room facing the back of the hotel Would have been better but all in all a great hotel to stay plus breakfast was very nice !
