Very friendly staff. A lot of activities to do during the day and night. Andreas staff member made our family feel very welcome.

This is a great hotel to stay and experience Cretan culture and beauty. The staff are warm, friendly and professional, be it at reception, bar, dining room and at the gym (pool or wellbeing classes). The dining room is very clean; staff are very attentive and offer swift service/attention when you need it. The buffet has a wide range of delicious food. Ervis and his team in the dining room gave excellent service. The reception manager and her team. The pools are clean, beautiful and well maintained and kids friendly. The sittting areas are clean and well maintained, so are the grounds. Entertainment was amazing, the wellbeing team; Andreas and Abia always moved around to remine hotel residents of their relaxing activities ; which i enjoyed..The greenery and flowers are gorgeous and give the hotel that relaxing and peaceful feel. I would recommend this hotel to friends and family and would come again.

A lovely set of hotels with lots of facilities and very near the beach. Rooms are spacious, cleaned daily and with balconies. Situated near plenty of restaurants, shops and easy rental for car/quad bikes. Lovely staff at reception and in the restaurants always working hard. Evra/Elvis is amazing keeping everything running smoothly in the restaurants. Andreas the events leader was helpful , kind and full of energy. Always informed us of the events available at the hotels. He was supportive of the acts and tribute bands, always encouraging holidaymakers to join in and made sure that you were always made to feel welcome, A lovely, genuinely caring person. The hotel is nice, in a good location. Friendly staff. We were upgraded to a suite which was good. There are stairs and no lift so not great if you have little ones or health limitations. Breakfast - good selection and choice. Andreas and the entertainment team work hard to create a fun atmosphere. Andreas is very good with people and makes you feel welcome. We would come back here again.

After staying in Sissi a couple of years ago, we were so excited to return! We arrived at Castello Village Hotel in the early hours of the morning (due to a slightly delayed flight). The young man at reception was very blunt and not welcoming. Once we had checked in, he showed us to our room. He watched us struggle with our cases up some stairs - no offer to help. Once we got to the room, he unlocked the door, showed us inside and then he ran off in a hurry. The first thing I noticed was that the bed hasn’t been made and it looked like someone had been laying in it. The room had a smell. We noticed the fridge door had been left open with food inside that had gone mouldy. There were hairs in the sink. The bins were half full. The room had not been cleaned. This isn’t something you expect when you arrive at a hotel, especially in the early hours of the morning. We decided to go back to reception to raise our issues. The man on reception was quite apologetic and confused. He explained that he was only covering the hotel for the night so not sure why the room was unclean. He rang what we presume was the manager and he was told that they will investigate the room. In the meantime, we could stay at the sister hotel for the night and that we can return to Castello Village Resort at 11am the next day to check-in. By then, the room should be sorted. The room we were given at the sister hotel was gorgeous! In the morning, we had breakfast there which was lovely! Although staying at the sister hotel was amazing, you don’t expect to arrive to a hotel in the early hours of the morning for the room to be unclean and not ready for guests! Poor communication from staff and we did feel for the man covering as he had no idea that the room wasn’t ready! The room was lovely, but doesn’t look anything like the pictures shown! The air-con was ok but our room was in the shade so didn’t really get warm. I think you’d have a problem with air-con if you had any other room as the sun would be hitting the rooms all day! The sun beds were a daily problem as a lot of people would claim beds by leaving their towel for hours and hours. A big struggle for parasols too as again, people would put them near the sun beds which weren’t being used. There were also a lot of broken sun bed and parasols around the pool so be careful. The pool area needs some work, lots of broken tiles which were a hazard. Breakfast had something for everyone and was cooked lovely. If you were early, there was plenty of space; however, some mornings, it was chaos no matter the time. When it was like this, you’d need to queue, but there wasn’t a sign telling you where to wait so that became confusing for a lot of people. Overall, it is a nice hotel but after all the issues I wouldn’t return. There are nicer hotels to stay in Sissi!

The staff was very kind and helpful like Sevi, Ervis , Eva ,Dora, the chefs and everyone else . The food was delicious and they had lots of different food to choose from. I had a very fun time here. They have very clean and nice rooms.

Very nice trip ! The team is so kind even with complicate clients. They always have a solution. Like at home. We recommend it for holidays with friends or family. Thanks a lot !

The receptionist is very friendly. The food is tasty. There are many cats😺 Nice pools. And an amazing sea. I love cats!😻
