Kreshchatyk Guesthouse

Walking distance to lots of restaurants, clubs and shops. The room was comfortable. Lots of English speaking stations on TV. I would definitely stay again.

The location is great, the stuff speaks English and very friendly and helpful. The hotel is in renovation at the moment. Soon it will be nice place to stay. and they accept pets!

It was actually an apartment, which we liked a lot. Especially, its location - 3 blocks away from Maidan. The apartment was equipped with everything a guest might need, spacious and cozy. Liked it a lot and will definitely use again.

Western European folks and North Americans might find the place to be a little dicey, in terms of the structure of the building, but in Kiev, this is a real value. The rooms are apartment style units, so I got to wash some clothes in my room, which was large and very clean. I needed this after having been in Europe on business for 16 days. I loved the room, which was on the top floor, with a great view of the city's main street. I went grocery shopping, and cooked a nice breakfast. But what separates this place from so many others was the helpful staff. I used their printer for a business document, and I must have asked them twenty different questions in 6 or 7 visits to the office. They were friendly--all- and spoke fluent English (which is the exception rather than the rule in this very large Eastern European City). In short, I liked my room very much, loved the(all female staff) and would recommend the place. Just understand that the lift does not work, and the stairwells leading up to a 4th floor office (rooms above that) are a little shabby. I will nonetheless return there when next I am in Kiev on business.

I would love to stay there during my next visit. There is no better location! Cons: The bad was BAD!!! The springs are all in your back and you feel tortured when wake up.

These serviced apartments is certainly a good deal 'cause it is much cheaper than the "real" hotel of the same quality in Kiev. They operate many apartments in the area, not just in the house mentioned on their main page. So it is possible to choose between the aptmt on the main street of Kiev - Kreschatyk (convenient but may be a bit noisy) and one the aptmt on the side-street (maybe 5-7 minutes of hard hillside walking from Kreschatyk, but more quiet). So if you let them know in advance - they will find the best option for you. The kitchen is equipped with all possible cookingware and devices, but if you're not in the mood to cook by yourself, you don't have to worry about the food - there's a lot of restaurants and cafes in the area (both Ukrainian and international - T.G.I., some sushi-bars etc). In fact, no disappointments at all. A lot of foreigners among the guests - all have happy faces :)

The staff were amazingly helpful, however, it helps to speak Russian or Ukrainian. You are right in the heart of Kyiv, and close to all its sights and restaurants. The only problem with our visit was the noise level of the Tymoshenko supporters/protestors on the opposite side of the street.

Very central so excellent position. Appartments in an older block above to Marks & Spencer. Comfortable apartment but not cutting edge. Rather strange arrangement for reception but very friendly.

I was a little scared going into the building as the stairway and elevator were very old and not in good repair. But as I later found out most apartment buildings are this way. Website photos show the nice two room apartment but I was originally shown a one room which was in poor condition. I declined and was given a nicer two room apartment. Room was nice and modern with lage plasma TV in the living room. Staff was very friendly and accomodating. Location is good as you are right on Kreshchatyk Street the main street in Kiev. There is also a TGI Fridays within a couple hundred feet if you are needing American style food. The wi-fi in the room was real shaky but understand it is normal in Kiev. Overall good experience and I would definitely stay there again if I could get that same apartment.

I stayed in one of their apartments down the street from the main Guesthouse. The were nice and friendly. The pictures online are not what the place looks like. The location was great and overall I enjoyed my stay. I would use them again when I go back to Kiev.
