Park Inn Sandton

The swimming pool wasn't clean , the bedroom the shower wasn't working properly and the sink. Thanks.

The rates were good...overall i would recommend this hotel Hourly shuttle to sandton Friendly staff Water saving flushing system It was clean and not stuffy Breakfast was good Cons Soap dispenser was empty.... no soap or lotion... i had to request Gym needs improvement Dining area could use more classy furniture

My $ 600 were stolen from my room during my stay for 1 week in Park Inn Sandton, Joburg in October 2019. I left for a business meeting in the morning and on my return, found that $ 600 is stolen from my bag. The hotel did the lock analysis & concluded that housekeeping has been coming for cleaning though the hotel never allowed me to meet that housekeeping member stating that it's against their hotel policy and neither I was allowed to see the video footage. Hotel management suggested conducting a polygraph test on housekeeping which was done confidentially by them along with the internally hired agency by the hotel. The result declared that the housekeeping staff is not guilty. The report seems fabricated so as the hotel can safeguard their interests & maintain the brand image of the hotel. To my surprise, I was informed that earlier also plenty of theft cases/breakage of safe as well as parked cars are stolen from Park Inn. The hotel seems to turn a blind eye to such incidents & its very hurting for the guests who are paying a decent amount to the hotel hoping that their belongings will be very safe in the hotel. I met GM of Hotel (Herman Brits), Housekeeping Manager (Tanya) & relationship manager (Siyaanda), they paid their condolence on this incident but the truth remains money is stolen from my room in the hotel. I would have appreciated if the hotel would have acted reimbursing this amount considering the fact that money is stolen from my room only.

I had to ask for shower gel and lotion twice and they were never delivered. The quality of the sheets is so poor that I was uncomfortable sleeping the whole time I was there.

The check in and service was good, however one of the rooms we have the aircon was not working but we were moved to one with a working aircon. Check out was fine, an issue was the level of noise in the morning from the area where the guards stay was extremely disturbing

the aircondition was not working i checked in late night they change room also same problem no staff was available to check slept without ventilation also fan was not working the reception guy told me they cant help me so i had to open window and sleep it was horrible

The stay at Park inn was excellent, the breakfast however was highly questionable. Absolutely disappointing.

A truly awful experience. First night was fire alarm non-stop from about 1am through to 10am when we had to leave for meetings. This was the final straw which made us notice all the stuff we'd generally gloss over, such as bad breakfast service, dirty rooms (we had 3 rooms, all had numerous cleanliness / service issues), non-working airconditioning and generally lacklustre experience. I stood in this hotel a year ago swearing to never return, and not sure why I did. Literally we got no sleep on the first night. I dont often take pics or call Head Office to complain, but this trip made me do all the above. As one can see on Hotels.com we book in excess of 500 nights a year, so we have context when we have complaints.

Great position for business in Sandton. Hotel however needs a little TLC and renovation work.
