Coco Ocean Resort & Spa

Von zwei Nächten verbrachte ich die erste im Zimmer Spa1, ein ungepflegtes Zimmer; es meisten Steckdosen waren herausgebrochen; im Bad war kein Spiegel; so auch nicht im Zimmer. Dies fuer Euro 170 die Nacht. Dem Ersuchen um ein Gespraech mit dem Manager wurde nicht entsprochen; er war zwar im Nebenraum der Rezeption, zeigte sich aber nicht. Fuer die zweite Nacht gab mir das Personal an der Rezeption ein akzeptables Zimmer (Cony 19).

Ein tolles Ressort mit komfortablen Zimmern und ausgezeichneten Restaurants.

Das Hotel dient auch für Hochzeitsfeierlichkeiten am Wochenende. Das kann dann bis nach 2 Uhr früh dauern, wobei die Lautstärke der Soundanlage besonders ärgerlich ist.

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel in The Gambia and overall enjoyed my experience. One of the biggest highlights was the incredibly friendly and welcoming staff, who were always happy to help. The hotel offers many different areas to dine and lounge, which made it easy to relax and change scenery throughout the day. The rooms are generally clean and spacious, though this can vary depending on how you book. I also felt very safe during my stay, and the food options were varied and enjoyable.

There were a few downsides worth noting. Card payments come with a 3% transaction fee, which was a bit disappointing. Breakfast, while decent, can start to feel repetitive if you’re staying for several days. Some rooms also appear worn and slightly outdated. In my case, my room did not have a mosquito net despite requesting one; however, the hotel staff did respond by spraying the room with repellent, which I appreciated.

100% the staff make your stay amazing. They can’t do enough and everyone is super friendly and put us at ease. The grounds are beautifully manicured and the atmosphere is great
