Palazzo Ferraioli - Hotel & Wellness

First let me say that Carlo, the male Employee who helped carry our luggage is a wonderful person! He was so attentive and very kind. He is the number one reason we would return to this hotel. Carlo number one! But it's important to note- this property is not for the weak. 80 plus steps just to get to the lobby. We were there for several nights. The most incredible part of this place is opening the balcony doors of our room and seeing the ocean shimmer every day. The cool breeze at night was a bonus. The breakfast buffet was delicious and as we were traveling with our 3 kids, it allowed us to fuel up with ease before a long day of adventure.

Wonderful spot within walking distance of Amalfi. Atrani is less busy and still very beautiful. This spot is so close to the beach you don’t need to bring a bag.

We had such a great experience at the Palazzo Feraioli in Atrani! We first arrived by ferry at the Amalfi Port from Salerno port, and it was a quick 15-20 min walk to the steps leading up to the hotel. Walking away from the port of amalfi, keep the water to your right. Its a little hard to see unless you are using your Maps, but if you can get to the Dejavu Cafe, the entrance to a pedestrian tunnel is just to the right of that cafe and takes maybe 2 minutes to walk through. It keeps you from having to walk through a heavily used driving tunnel on the main road leading to Atrani. Once you exit the walking tunnel, you can walk across the road to a restaurant (Zachariah’s, i think is the name) and walk through the restaurant to some steps leading down to the beach area of Atrani. The beginning of the steps is a small alley right next to the Restaurant Le Palme. You can call up to the hotel and ask them to send their valet Carlo to help with luggage. He is wonderful, and he can carry at least two suitcases up to the hotel, and be sure to tip him because it’s a bit of a climb! He also helped carry our luggage down the steps when we were checking out of the hotel at the end of our stay. The room we were in was beautiful, and clean, and had such a great view of the mountains, the church/bell tower, and the water/port. Such an incredible way to wake up in Italy! There is a wellness spa in the hotel, we didn’t get to experience it this stay, but we hope to be back and book a service. There is a patio up on the roof, and it offers some incredible views. Atrani has a wonderful square with a small market for drinks and snacks, and there are a number of restaurants and cafes. Check out Savos! The food and service was excellent. You can walk just outside of the square and reach a beach with umbrellas and sunbeds. There is a small fee to use the sunbeds all day, and it’s such a beautiful, relaxing spot. It was easy to walk to Amalfi town and do some shopping and sight seeing. You can also walk towards Ravello from Atrani, be sure to check out Lido Beach club restaurant. It’s a beautiful walk down some steps and there is a 3 euro charge per person i believe to be able to sit at a table if you’re not a guest at the resort, but the drinks and food were great, and so was the service. We also walked up a whole lot of steps to Ravello and visited the square and Villa Rufollo. Such beautiful views up there! You can take a bus if you don’t want to climb a literal mountain, but it’s definitely worth a visit. While staying at the Palazzo we took a ferry from Amalfi port to Maiori and Capri, and if we had a longer stay we could’ve taken the ferry to other towns along the coast. We felt safe staying in Atrani. It was so quiet and beautiful, and we definitely wanted to stay outside of any super busy tourist like towns. We hope to go back again!

Gennaro De Rosa was terrific! He made check in seamless. I needed to Check in earlier to prepare for a wedding and he made it happen! He also assisted with recommending me a salon where I could get a manicure and have my hair done for the wedding at a last minute notice. The hotel is beautiful and I loved my room

Beautiful location with a great room overlooking Atrani. We had a corner room with ocean/City view and large jacuzzi in the room...magnificent. Great views, awesome air-conditioning, great bed, and beautiful rooftop for Aperitivos!

This is our second stay. We love this hotel, the spa, the staff, and the entire experience. The view from our room is always so magical. There is a rooftop area that we love to enjoy once the sun goes down. It's quiet and not many people are up there. We love the breakfast. The staff that prepares and serves the food are terrific. They are so sweet and kind. The breakfast is a full breakfast, with hot options, like scrambled eggs. Carlo helped us with our bags and was helpful in providing tips on where to eat. The spa is a beautiful and private. This hotel is in Atrani, a short walk from the town of Amalfi. You get the beauty of Amalfi without the hustle and bustle. It's quiet and more low key. There is always plenty of beach access.
