We had a lovely stay at la vista azul

This place was super amazing. The views were amazing. The restaurant was ok . 8 minutes away from the beach. Pool was clean and heated. The property was clean and pretty. Quiet area hotel staff are helpful. Gym was nice . Only con about this hotel is all the stairs you have to go up. No elevators

Overall, it was nice. I felt safe there and the hotel area was very pretty. Staff was awesome, super kind and went above and beyond. The rooms had an oven, microwave, stove, fridge and freezer, dishwasher and laundry washer and dryer in unit. Two pools and hot tub which were very clean and quiet. Cons: the bed was uncomfortable. My husband and I woke up with back aches each day. The shower water pressure was bad. No pan for the oven so we could not use it. Did not have dish soap or detergent for laundry/dishwasher. However the maid service was awesome and did our dishes and some laundry for us. We bought all the stuff at the store though. No paper towels or napkins or body wash. It did supply shampoo, conditioner, and body lotion though. As long as you bring those things from home you’ll be fine.

Property was great and as advertised

The views were wonderful. Short walk to the beach and a reef close by. Pools and hot tub were in wonderful shape and always clean. Staff was so nice. Simone’s restaurant and gelato place was reasonable and right on property. Walking distance to Turtle Cove restaurants. Our room was clean but lacked some items that would have been nice like a blender. It had one pan which was being used to catch a drip under the sink!!!! We did use the one skillet to cook with, however. Overall, we loved staying here and made do with what we had.

This place refuse to compensate me for when the power went out which caused a water shortage, no wifi and no electricity...

We'd never been to Turks & Caicos and beachfront (on the water) accomodations were a bit pricey. As it was just us, no kids, the need for instant beach access every day (kids like to roll out every available moment) wasn't so important. La Vista Azul sits tiered, into a hill with oustanding ocean view rooms. Of course you have to specify that otherwise your choices include garden view or whatever the jargon. Lots of steps if you're staying in the Ocean View rooms... 82! If you arrive from the airport by van, reception is at that lower street level. If you've rented a car, you now motor back up to the upper road to access the Ocean View rooms... otherwise you schlep your baggage up 82 stairs to your room! Ours was a 1 room efficiency, w/ balcony overlooking a large beautiful deck and views of the ocean. Just a few steps down and we were poolside. We were in Building 3 and our area was restricted to no kids under... I think it was 12? Net, no kids frolicking in the pool... in fact, only a few adults the entire week. Full bath, full kitchen, washer/dryer, 50" or so tv with all the channels... though we only watched the Super Bowl and turned it off for the rest of the week. We bought a few breakfast groceries and snacks but otherwise tried a different restaurant every night. We borrowed beach chairs + umbrella from the hotel and, while you could walk to the beach (I'd say 15 minutes) we drove to a different point every day... great experience, rent a car.

We are visited Provo many times however, as this was a last minute trip we did not have many options hence chose this property. We would NOT recommend it. Upkeep on the units is not good at all, I almost feel sorry for investors who are paying monthly fee to this resort to manage it as units are in shackles. We had to take 2 suits as we were 4 (2 adults and 2 kids) of us and ocean view suite’s only accommodate 2 people. Washer and stove in one unit was broken the entire time and the people pretty much relied on our second unit for all the usage. Also, air conditioning in one unit was not working on arrival but we were given another unit for a night. Beds are not comfortable, dishes and glasses are chipped, shower is really bad(can share pictures). You don’t go to Provo for this kind of an experience, please avoid if you can. We were in Building 2, ocean view suites. Pool was nice and mostly quiet, outside is decent but this property is about a 15-20 drove from most things you would like to see or enjoy. Handful of restaurants are in walking distance and are decent.
