Hotel La Vista Azul

Beach with amazing snorkeling very close.

This property was underwhelming. They didn't even offer breakfast. The property is extremely dated. I felt I was living in the 90's. Extremely disappointed. I would never go back to this hotel and also will never recommend this hotel to anyone as well.

Modern property, just not being taken care of. Like many of the other reviews, we had air conditioning problems and had to change rooms.

Pool is cold and no where to buy water nothing was offfered in the room. And the room smelled like curry.

Good amenities - pools and hot tub, big balcony, comfortable and clean rooms. Would absolutely recommend. Easy walking distance to beach, nearby restaurants, and vendors on-site. Easy 10-15 minute taxi to the excursions we did and 10 minutes from the airport.

The property was located about 5-10 minutes walk from the beach. Excellent Restaurants were also a few minutes walk from the Hotel. The ac unit went out for one day and one staff member was sent that evening to check it, but it was not fixed until the next day by getting a new unit. That same evening we didn't have hot water. The unit was very comfortable and spacious with an amazing view, lounge chairs would be nice to have on the balcony and provide a couple of folding chairs to take to the beach. The gym was way too small with very old equipment. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The room we stayed in was not clean. It smelled horrible. We got air spray to try to help. The black out curtain were filthy as was the one fabric chair in the room. Tile in bathroom was not clean. Kitchen was ‘grimey’. As others mentioned in reviews, be prepared for the stairs!

everyone was nice And helpful

We only spent 1 night. Did not get the room we booked. I guess some rooms are updated , others not as much. Although it was not the cleanest, it was not too bad. We didn’t use the kitchen area…. The Bed was clean and very comfortable. It’s a short walk to the beach. Good snorkelling. Restaurant closed on Sunday. Only saw a few staff but they were friendly. A few restaurants in walking distance but not a lot.

It was not like the pictures at all not a resort.
