Holiday Inn Express & Suites Raleigh West - Lenovo Center by IHG

It was under renovation which we weren’t told about. Had to walk through plastic to get to our room. Wires hanging down when we went to get ice. Hotel should have been closed for this. Only one small room available for breakfast. NOTHING like the pictures

Location was hidden. Three trips in circles trying to find it. Staff was horrible! They were rude, never spoke unless you were dealing with them about check in.

Did not get my deposit back the deposit was 286.40 the charge for the room was 326.40 never seen a credit for the deposit back on my card

THIS HOTEL IS UNDER MAJOR CONSTRUCTION. You have to enter from the back through a service door. I did not want to leave a poor review because I know how damaging that can be for a hotel. I booked this hotel on hotels.com and planned to leave a four star review just to educate people about what's happening here. But I literally could not leave a review - they must have disabled it - and that upsets me. So now you get a poor review. The room was nice. No major complaints other than that it needs some updating (stains in the tub). The bed was comfy. The hotel was relatively quiet, and the water pressure was good. These are the things most important to me. But I really did not appreciate being shown photos of the lovely lobby and breakfast area only to find out that due to construction, that entire section of the hotel was closed off. The gym is closed too. Breakfast was not up to standard, and served in the equivalent of a trailer without enough seating. A simple notification that the hotel was under construction would have been appropriate. Failing to disclose that was not acceptable.
