The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was good

My check in process was difficult and stressful! I reserved online with a Master Card several weeks in advance but was called/texted the morning of arrival to say my room would be cancelled due to a non payment. It took several calls to the property to work this out. I was on my way without knowing if my room had been given away. Also the facility is under construction and this was not made known at time of reservation. We only stayed one night but I probably won't book at this location again. I come to Raleigh once every couple of months and will choose another hotel next time.

Hotel is under extensive construction, very loud and dirty and smelly from construction. No safety, all doors propped open for construction, entrance through back due to construction, difficult to enter and exit with bags. No staff at desk for check in and out, when reached staff over the phone multiple people were rude

As a mom traveling with my young daughter, I researched hotels and checked out pictures. I was very disappointed that this hotel did not look anything like the pictures due to construction. Part of the experience of traveling is the hotel look and feel, which fell flat when we had to check in through a crowded make shift lobby. The room was okay, and the bed was comfy, but it smelled weird and the floor didn't feel clean. The hotel is literally in front of railroad tracks. We were woken up by a train a couple of times. We came back later in the evening and the lighting to the hotel was dark since the McDonald's was closed. You have to drive by an auto repair place or something and there was a sketchy guy outside both nights we were there.

Great location and very accommodating manager. We were in town for an RV show. Breakfast was hot and tasty! Lobby was being renovated but it didn't stop the hotel from being a great stay.
