Homewood Suites by Hilton Cedar Rapids-North

Good location, clean room, accessible parking.

The bathroom stall area floor was not very clean. Carpeted floor not vacuumed properly.

Breakfast was excellent!!

The room was comfortable and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The pool was closed due to maintenance which would have been nice to have open.

We love the suites with separate living room/kitchen and also the bathroom sink separate from the rest of the bathroom. Also love the ease of use with the soap, lotion, shampoo & conditioner. The exhaust fan in the bathroom was very dirty!

Average hotel. Did not care much about its location.

This was an awesome spot to stay with our 12 month old daughter!

The problem with this hotel isn't with the staff, the cleanliness, or anything like that. It's that the one-bedroom rooms have the only bathroom accessible only through the bedroom! So not only do you have no privacy, but anyone sleeping on the pullout couch is forced to wake you up if they need the bathroom during the night. To make it even worse, the bathroom light switch is outside the bathroom, so the whole room floods with light for a second or two before you can get into the bathroom and close the door. How hard would it have been to place the bathroom in a way that it could also have a door to the main room? The bad night's sleep I got, combined with the moderately high cost, means I probably won't be back, especially if I'm sharing my room with friends or children.
