We loved this hotel, especially the art around the hotel and the lovely staff.

What a gorgeous place to stay! 24 Royal Terrace is the absolute opposite of a bland chain hotel. Our room was huge and beautifully decorated - as was the whole hotel. Interesting and very different. The staff without exception were genuinely friendly. They helped us out with ideas for bars and restaurants and were always good for a bit of a chat too. Location is great - just off Calton Hill. so peaceful and quiet, but with amenities nearby. Breakfast is fabulous. Highly recommended.

A truly hidden gem in Edinburgh for any art lover. Ideally located within walking distance of the Royal Mile and Princes Street, this place offers a unique experience. While I’ve seen galleries inside hotels before, this feels quite literally like a hotel inside an art gallery. The main rooms are well-sized and tastefully decorated, adding to the overall charm. The staff are warm, friendly, and very welcoming, making the stay even more enjoyable.

The lack of a lift is a serious limitation. We were on the top floor of an Edwardian house. You quickly learned not to forget anything when leaving the room.

Very stylish boutique hotel. The room was spacious, clean and beautiful and the bed was very comfy. The personnel was friendly and welcoming. I especially liked location and the view from my window on the city. The breakfast was amazing and very delicious with plenty of options to choose. Warmly recommend!

No lift and quite a lot of stairs, maybe not suitable for a family with small child or a person with disabilities.

Sehr nettes personal, tolle Betten und alles blitzsauber. Wir waren gerne da und würden wieder buchen! Wunderbares kleines Hotel mit vielen Bildern im Flur - es gibt viel zu sehen. Wir haben von dort aus alles zu Fuß erkundet.

A very nice Hotel! It was very comfortable and the staff was frendly and charming. A good beakfast and the central location to the city, near the tram. We stayed at an 200 jears old house with scottish ambiance. We were very happy to have booked this hotel and we would book it again.
