The Place

Hôtel très bien situé, avec toutes les commmodités proches, à pieds ou en tram à seulement quelques mètres de l'hôtel. Très pratique pour venir ou aller à l'aéroport. La chambre était propre, spacieuse et confortable avec une belle vue au 2ème étage. Il lui manquait toutefois quelques petits éléments à améliorer: un petit meuble sous la TV ou une table pour poser des affaires, et il manquait les appliques murales lumineuses de chaque côté du lit. Mais nous avons tout de même passé un très bon séjour. Le personnel est professionnel et très agréable. On nous a gentiment gardé les bagages avant l'heure du check-in, et même portés jusqu'à la chambre. A noter que l'hôtel vous contacte par un lien whats'app dès votre réservation pour vous donner plein d'informations utiles et répondre à toutes vos questions, ce qui est très appréciable quand on arrive dans une ville que l'on ne connaît pas. Excellent location and WiFi access. We are on the top floor which was quite warm, No air condition but a fan is provided. We found a tiny spider on the pillow, but overall are good and clean. No complaint :-)

Wonderful - clean, comfy, and warm

A beautiful georgian property. High ceilings and big windows. No lift but help offered immediately with our luggage. I noted a large car park, tram and Bus routes but we walked everywhere...... just 15 mins from Princes st and Waverly.

Incredible service! Everyone was lovely, helpful and welcoming. Well kept rooms and a great location to walk to everything. I would recommend this place to anyone.

The location and the reception crew are great. However, it is impossible to get some rest here. All night long there is noise coming from the street and the hotel itself, you hear steps and looks like people are walking inside your room. There is no air conditioner so the room gets hot as well. Also, there are no elevators. For two days, I had to personally request for housekeeping to clean my room. The automatic window in the ceilling would randomly open in the morning and if you were able to sleep, you would wake up with the light. Add to that, prices were super high due the Oasis gigs in town. I would not go back or recommend the hotel for anyone.

Great location and staff. Property is well kept. Within walking distance of the tram and Waverley train station. Be aware that there is no lift/elevator, so you will need to take the stairs. Single room is small and basic, but it's all you need to shower and sleep. My room was on the street side and had a bright light right outside the window; better blackout curtains would have helped at night.

The room was very large with a little sofa, table & chair, desk and chair, TV and the beds were quite comfortable. Internet worked great for us. They didn't really have a "dining room" however you could eat in the lounge and they had several comfortable sitting areas on the main floor. As we were out and about we didn't actually eat at the property so I can't speak on the food. The hotel is close to the bus & train stations and very walkable to shops and parks. There is no elevator however the staff brought our bags up to our rooms for us. The terrace area was super quiet, serene & relaxing. The only thing I think would be nice to add to the rooms is a little fridge to be able to keep bottled water, a sandwich etc in. Having said all that the staff really makes this hotel ... they were AMAZING! so friendly, personable, helpful, accommodating, quick in response to all queries and always smiling (even while hauling our heavy luggage up the stairs).

Great stay, friendly staff and we got a free upgrade to a bigger room. Loved the location.
