"Absolutely Perfect"

10.0

We cannot say enough good things about the Domaine de la Tour B&B. The setting is absolutely picturesque, and the lodging itself was beautiful and comfortable -- with spacious, gorgeous rooms. Mark and his family are excellent hosts -- kind, welcoming, thoughtful and attentive to details. Plus, we found the town of Falaise to be an unexpected surprise with its beautiful village and fascinating history related to William the Conquerer and the second World War. In a week full of great visits and lodging, the Domaine de la Tour B&B was a standout -- as was Falaise.

"Scene of a Bad 70s Horror Movie"

2.0

On a trip of a lifetime, to Paris, Switzerland and then Normandy, we had booked this quaint place for two nights. After an unexpected 12 hours behind the wheel due to road conditions, we arrived very tired and in need of a comfortable bed. On the way, we couldn’t locate the property on our cars GPS. Somebody may have deleted it so that unwary travelers would avoid this place. We could find the small town though and switched to the map link sent by the hotel. It took us quite a ways down a narrow lane with tall vegetation n both sides. Arriving late at night we found three buildings forming a square like some kind of processing plant in the middle of nowhere. Nobody was moving and the buildings had a few lights on in the lower levels. No guest rooms of any kind could be seen. Using our cell phone flashlights we found reception and rang the bell many times. No answer. We then called the hotel. No answer. We were standing in a pea gravel lined courtyard surrounded by drains. The buildings did not match the photo on the website. Similar but the windows were different. And the website showed only one building. Cold, tired, and standing in the dark we had the overwhelming feeling of a bad 70s movie. There was no way we would stay a night here. But if you enjoy that movie genre, this might be just the place for you

An amazing place that made you feel at home from the moment you walk through the door. Cannot praise this place enough and we left wishing we had booked to stay longer. We hope we return soon.

"Beautiful country retreat."

10.0

Our second stay at this beautiful B&B and the hospitality shown by Mark and Noelle was once again superb. The spacious family room has the most comfortable bed and the breakfast is delicious with the most amazing homemade jams. Kids loved the play equipment especially the go carts! We will be back next year!

"Great hotel with family room for five"

10.0

Nothing was too much trouble at this very beautiful hotel. We had a family room and despite there being five of us the room still felt spacious. The owners even provided lactose free milk for our daughter at breakfast.
