Overall it was okay but not my future first choice or top recommendation. From the photos, the outside and the lobby, it appears like a quality hotel. However the rooms are sub par. For starters, there’s an awful odor in the hallways and room (at least ours on the 6th floor) that’s almost sewage like. Definitely not the most comfortable thing to inhale everyday. The suite we were in was roomy but the carpet was disgusting and it just felt like everything else in the room was unclean too. Some parts on the table were sticky but the rest of the room was cleaned well daily and manageable. The bed was comfortable but the room was cold so we did need to use the heater as well as request an extra blanket.

I have been to this hotel one time before and I was given a great room that made me want to come again and again (room 101). This time I was given another room (room 702) and it could not have been worse. First, I arrived at 1:00 am to check in to find an empty reception desk. i had to wake up the employee to come and give me my key and check me in. Second, the room was not clean, the bathroom was minimal and had a ventilation fan that made a lot of noise and did not allow me to sleep well. The bathroom had only one small towel and no other towels. Third, there was NO HOT WATER! I couldnt shower! At checkout, I told the reception employee all of the above. SHE SAID IT WAS MY FAULT!! She said I booked a single room and that I should have booked a deluxe room. She said that last time I was upgraded to a deluxe room. So in conclusion, if you book a single room, you have to accept that there is no hot water, no towels, no extra blanket, no room heating... basically nothing, a bed and bad feeling! I would never recommend it!!

Good value 3 star in the heart of the tourist area with lots of restaurants, supermarkets and coffee shops near by. The hotel is a three star but is comfortable with excellent, friendly and helpful staff.

Overall Good Experience at the CASA D'OR Hotel Although there was some constructions works in the street But Everything was fine The Breakfast was Good The Room was Good

Was a very bad experience we could not even get to it There was construction everywhere Thehotel was very old wasn’t clean and very pricey we did have to leave to a different hotel

Kindest and most caring staff. I was at the hotel with my 81 year old mother and the staff cared for her like a family member. The hotel driver, Mr. Khaled was also very kind and caring. I'll be back !
