Prinsotel La Caleta Hotel

We had the best experience. Friendly staff, super clean lovely room with a garden, nice breakfast and delicious cocktails by the pool Also very nice location near two beautiful beaches They even let us use the facilities on the day we checked out. We had a chance to spend the day at the beach and have a shower before we left for airport Front desk ( two names I remember, Eva and Maria, but all of them really) was super helpful with restaurant recommendations, bookings and arrangements to go to the airport Would definitely recommend and go back

I do recommend this hotel for the quality of the rooms and services (restaurants, pools, bars, entertainment), and the position. In this regard, there is a beach (Sa Caleta) at 2 minutes walking distance, Ciutadella de Menorca is at 4 km, and there is easy access to the main routes to visit the island. The food, from breakfast to dinner, is excellent. The staff are very friendly and happy to advise on places to visit and the best (non-tourist) restaurants. The only complaint was the cleanliness of the rooms, which was below my expectations (I always found sand on the floor). I recommend this hotel, especially for a family holiday or with small children.

We stayed in this hotel for the first time in 2018 (for which I wrote a glowing review) and so revisited this year. It was amazing. As before the hotel is immaculate, the grounds are kept so well and it’s very pretty. The pool is super clean. The room offering has changed with suites now offered which we had this time with half board. Such a nice room. We were right outside the smaller pool which was fab for nipping in and out all day and still being able to see the kids (now older) in the pool. Last time there was entertainment around the pool occasionally and this didn’t happen this time which we did miss. It does mean it’s peaceful and relaxing and the entertainment in the evening was good. We didn’t struggle for beds. Some were reserved with no people appearing but if someone arrived and needed one the life guard knew which ones hadn’t been occupied and would clear the towels off. It’s not often in life you see a company or organisation so well run in so many areas. I’m so impressed with how Prinsotel run their business it’s impressive. Every staff member is excellent at what they do and are friendly and professional. Well done to the management / owners. What an operation. I am still trying to get back into work after returning. Wish we were back there relaxing and mooching around Menorca. Miss it hugely.

This was our third year at the hotel and as always we had an amazing time. Our suite with pool was perfect and we love the location. However a couple of things were missing this year some of the staff at Salt & Co have left and they seem slightly understaffed and the new staff aren’t as friendly. Also with me needing a gluten free diet they seemed a little confused whereas last year they understood and offered gluten free bread for sandwiches which they didn’t seem to have this year. The evening entertainment was not as good as previous years, last 2 years they had some good singers this year was replaced with bingo and music quiz which wasn’t for us so ended up in little bar on the beach. Plus missing the chilled music they used to have in the afternoon/ early evenings in Salt & Co. These are very minor details and still would recommend.

We truly enjoyed our stay at this hotel! Right at check-in, we were warmly welcomed by Alexandra at the reception. She was always friendly, helpful, and greeted us with a smile – you immediately feel at home. In the restaurant, we were especially impressed by waiter Lahsen. His service was attentive, professional, and at the same time genuinely warm. You can tell he loves his job, and his caring attitude made our stay even more enjoyable. A real highlight was also the tall, funny waiter at the bar. With his humorous personality, he created a great atmosphere while serving excellent drinks. He really knows how to make evenings pleasant and memorable. All in all, it was a wonderful stay – not only because of the hotel itself, but above all thanks to the amazing team. Many thanks to Alexandra, Lahsen, and the bar waiter for this unforgettable service! We will definitely come back.

Everything was perfect. Place, swimming pool (very clean), breakfast buffet (clean, professional, with a huge variety of food: several types of bread, cereals, cakes and croissants, fruit, protein options from cheese to ham, an unique stand for homeletes…). Also the room’s very nice with air conditioner, a big shower and very comfortable bed. And the location just 8 minutes by car or motorbike, also by bus (line 64,65 to Cittadella) and even to go walking in 35 minutes. I will repeat again with no doubt, thanks!!

Absolutely fabulous hotel with great amenities. Would really recommend getting bed and breakfast. Buffet breakfast is so generous with incredible gluten free options available upon request. Alexandra at reception has been so amazing to us during our stay!

Our stay was a short unplanned one. My mother was taken very ill whilst on the island and ended up in Intensive care. This hotel was 3 minutes from the hospital. We was greeted by Hivam a very pleasant and helpful reception staff. When we told him our reason to be staying at Prinsotel he went above and beyond to make our 2 night stay a place of comfort. Every time we saw him he went out of his way to make sure me and my partner were OK. It's because of the care and compassion he showed towards us all our visits to the hospital include a stay at Prinsotel.

We stayed in a room where the cleaners were so loud every morning shouting outside our room and making noise all down the corridor from 8am that I couldn’t have a lie in once. They do not let you buy water late at night if you run out and make you go into the gym to get a cup of water. Most of the machines are broken in the gym and the matts are filthy. The overall vibe of the hotel is like a cheap all inclusive but the prices are high.
