Prinsotel La Caleta Hotel

We had a lovely stay at the resort - it is perfect location looking over the ocean and right next to an amazing beach. The pool is massive and fantastic, the gym is very modern and well kept, and the food options are brilliant. Plus the staff are incredibly welcoming and helpful - always smiling and happy to speak to in Spanish in response to your broken Spanish! 10/10 stay - we will be back!

Great stay at Prinsotel La Caleta. Amazing location near a beautiful and calm cala. Special mention to Hiram at the front desk whose help and welcome has contributed to making our trip a memorable one.

Very nice and comfortable hotel. Service was grate and everything so clean and well taken care of. Alexandra in the lobby helped us so much and we are thankful for that.

Really enjoyed our time here — the hotel was clean, quiet, and in a great location near the beach. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely come back!

Wow!!!! So the hotel rooms are a little small however this is stated on the website and how much time do you actually spend in the room? The reception team are super helpful, especially Alexandra. The car hire prices you get from reception are cheaper than those obtained online. The animation team (kids club-froggi) were Fantasic. Agus, Matty and Vanessa are the best. My daughter is particularly shy, the team identified this and earned my daughters trust to inspire confidence. The activities organised for the children was varied and interesting. I don’t have much experience of children’s clubs but this one was by far the best. We ate breakfast at the hotel daily, this was varied and plentiful. We only ate at the hotel in the evening a couple of times but again this was fresh, varied and plentiful. The food always had good flavour which is rare at some other hotels. The assistant manager Gonzalo was always open to feedback and ready to listen, it was clear he truly cared for his hotel. This hotel is a 2min walk to a bus stop that in less than 10mins can have you in ciutudella. It’s also a 5min walk to two beautiful beaches. A taxi from ciutudella to the hotel will cost between 6-8 euros. (I don’t often make reviews but this one deserved my time) Overall a great family hotel that I will recommend to others. Thankyou.

Lovely grounds and gardens. 3 swimming pools. 6 blocks accommodation only 3 stories high but no lifts. Beautifully clean. Lovely suite overlooking pool. Staff excellent. Food very good buffet. Mainly Spanish occupants with very young families well catered for. Outside entertainment was varied for children not so much for adults.. small Sandy beach nearby. Bus to Ciutadella close by or taxi for €6. About 45 mins drive from airport in west of island.

My husband and I, along with our two daughters (ages 6 and 9) have recently returned from a 10 day stay at this hotel. We loved our stay from beginning to end. First of all, the hotel consists of a number of individual buildings situated on beautiful grounds. Lovely palm trees and olive trees, flowers, all very nicely maintained. There are two aspects to the hotel and two separate receptions - one reception for the hotel rooms and one for the suites. We opted to stay in a two bedroom suite with a balcony on a half board basis. We loved the accommodation. The rooms were decorated to a very good standard. Great shower. Kettle. Coffee machine (De Longhi). Hairdryer. Towels. Daily maid service. The beds were good quality but definitely on the firm side for us is the only thing I would say. We slept in the main room (kids were in the twin) and it would have been nice if this had its own door but we didn't mind that much. Our suite backed onto a main road at the rear of the building we stayed in. We had the choice to face onto the pool if we wanted but actually preferred this as the rooms were somehow cooler and it was nice to have a break from the pool area. Yes as has been said, this section does overlook some car and even bins, but it also overlooks trees, vegetation and other properties. We didn't remotely mind the sound of the odd car passing. It wasn't noisy at all. All the staff in the hotel were really pleasant and so incredibly kind and helpful. Special shout out to Roser, Mati and Ulises in reception and Augustina in the kids club and the very nice cleaning ladies and guys at the restaurant and pools. The kids club operated certain hours and our kids popped in a few times to do crafts and we used the gym literally next door. Gym has great AC and a lovely aspect overlooking one of the pools. Its a really good spacious gym by hotel standards. We really liked it. We stayed on a half board basis as mentioned. The range and quality of food offered at both breakfast and dinner was of a high standard and there's plenty of scope to eat virtuously if thats what you'd like or to treat yourself. We were impressed and the kids were very happy too. We didn't feel we missed out by dining at the ther two restaurants on site at all. The general location of the hotel is stunning. Its right by Cala Santandria where we rented a pedal boat one day (€15 for an hour, great value) and swam most days. There's also lovely walks in both directions along the Cami de Cavalls which are so worth exploring as the coves and sunsets are absolutely stunning. We stayed from June 16-26 and it was already very very hot during the day so we tended to go for walks early morning or at night. We also rented a car and explored the western part of the island (there's plenty of parking around the hotel and most of it is free of charge) Cuitadella is a 5 minute drive and is nice for a walk around. We really enjoyed spending our holiday at this property. Everyone working here is trying really hard to create a nice atmosphere for guests and it shows. We would recommend it without hesitation. Thanks to all the staff for being so lovely and to the Manager for leading a great team. We send our regards from Dublin and hope to visit more Prinsotel properties in the future.

We really enjoyed our stay here, would happily come back & would highly recommend it!! The rooms were contemporary and really clean, the lady that cleaned the rooms everyday was so friendly! They provided slippers and robes too which was a nice touch. The beds were SO comfortable, we slept so well! The aircon and the balcony were also great, as was the swimming pool and pool area. The breakfast was one of the biggest we have ever seen, with so much choice and the service for the entire stay was 10/10! Hiram at reception was so kind at check out and Alexandra gave us some amazing restaurant recommendations- thank you both so much! We drove and had no issues parking on the street outside- the location was amazing, right by the beach & a 7 minute drive to Cuitadella.

We stayed at Prinsotel La Caleta at the beginning of June and had a fantastic experience. The hotel is absolutely beautiful—immaculately maintained gardens, stylish architecture, and pristine swimming pools create a relaxing and welcoming atmosphere. The location is perfect, just a short walk to the beach and close to nearby attractions. The food was good, with a wide variety of options to choose from, though not quite exceptional. What really stood out was the staff—friendly, helpful, and always professional. Overall, an amazing place to stay and one we’d gladly return to.
