"October stay"

Bed was comfortable, cozy room.

Was a bit chilly during the day, no heating on till 4pm. No staff about during day Dinning room was being refurbished, but I had no warning there would be no breakfast available.. which was very disappointing as I love a cooked breakfast on a guest house stay.

Parking facility and location

We were in the oldest part of the house, attic rooms with low ceiling/beams, Stairs were narrow and curved round only being able to use the narrowed part of the stairs to get to the room. Room was a compact size but radiators didn't come on (we did switch the rad on) so no heating. Bath only. On the morning of our arrival we were notified the breakfast option wasn't available as building were taking place. Which was then too late to cancel,
