Easington Guest House

I loved the location of the property as close to walk downtown and staff were very nice!

It was a little difficult to bring luggage to top floor and hard to drag luggage through front walkway rocks. It was a quiet location at night but during the day is busy.

Lovely, good sized room, tastefully decorated and nice big towels! Although facing the road, the guest house is set back and we didn't find that traffic noise was an issue.

One of the main reasons we chose Easington House was so that we could have breakfast there in the morning. A couple of days before our visit we received a text to say their card machine had broken so could we bring cash to pay for breakfast! On arrival we were told that we would be unable to have breakfast as they were short staffed and we hadn't booked in advance - not an option that we had been made aware of! It was difficult waking to the smell of bacon cooking and having to walk past several people in the dining room on our way to Weatherspoons!

The staff was very friendly. The room is spacious and clean. The breakfast was tasty.

Property was lovely, the room was clean, reasonably sized, had everything we needed. Debbie was really lovely.

We were warmly greeted by Debbie on our arrival who continued to make us feel very welcome throughout our stay. Our room (the family room) was perfect for the two of us as we prefer to sleep separately. The room was clean, comfortable and relatively quiet. There was some noise from squeaky floorboards above but that is typical of inconsiderate customers not the fault of the hosts. We'll be back when we're next in the area

Manager was extremely friendly and helpful, having a brief chat each day with great memory of the activities I mentioned. Room was decent and bed was comfortable

For being tall, the wooden beams were low and I needed to duck a lot. Room was a little dated but this did also add some charm. Wifi connection was fine until others accessed it at peak times, then it became a bit spotty.

The room was good, it was a family room, the bathroom was up a couple of stairs, they were quite steep.

the pillows were uncomfortable very soft and flat. could have done with a top sheet as the quilt was very heavy.
