Grand Kuta Hotel and Residence

It's a good choice for those who travel with family/friends as they have up to 3 bedrooms unit. However, it's an old property but it's pretty clean.

They don't allow us to dry our clothes outside the unit (the have terrace/balcony outside). Many guests will want to dry their wet clothes from the beach/pool.

We arrived on Thursday 6th July 2023 for 6 nights. We stayed 1 night and then changed hotels. The hotel is dirty, with none of what they say on Bookings website. There was no restaurant open, only for breakfast. No bar no room service. 2 sunbeds for the 3 pools and they are broken, one pool is half full only 80cm deep. Rooms dirty and you have to request to get room cleaned and clean towels. We both got bitten by bedbugs one the first night. We told staff we were leaving to go to a cleaner hotel and what the problem was and they did not care, only offered us a different room. I said what about the pool, restaurant and no bar, they just did not answer me. I will rate this hotel at best 1 star and I will write a review on it.

Large comfy bed and good sized room

No room service, no hot water, room not always serviced, wifi hopeless, too far from things. I saw staff day before check in to make sure everything is as advertised and was completely lied too. No early check in as discussed, despite sitting there for 2 hours and no one checked out. Very dishonest staff, scam.

Breakfast - not a buffet. Need to order and wait for 45 minutes, to be served. Did not opt for it. Pool was good. Room was clean. Staff were polite and helpful. Location is good.

I don't expect 5 star facilities when I pay less. So, no complaints. This hotel is value for money.
