Thank you Mr Zhu, you are the best to help us especially we can’t speak mandarin. He gone all the way to make sure we are safe & enjoy the experience in Zhanjiajie. The hotel staff Ivan is fantastic as all other staff. I am happy with this hotel, the staff very professional, speak & understood English make it easy to converse.

La recepción. Teníamos el desayuno incluido y decían que no. Estuvimos más de 1 hora para intentar convencerles, aportando la reserva de booking, donde lo ponía claramente. No se molestan por intentar hacerse entender ni entenderte. Piscina cerrada hasta abril

Very well appointed, clean, and comfortable hotel.

Breakfast was so so, but not unlike the typical fare.

I could plan the sights for Changsha, Fenghuang & Furong Town but planning for Zhangjiajie was a huge challenge, somewhat confusing, no matter how many YouTube videos you watch on the sights, the tickets to buy etc. for a FIT. Guests at Pullman are very fortunate to have Mr Zhu from the tour desk who gave us a clear overview of ZJJ and of how we should spend our days. Mr Zhu identified the important sights to visit and in which order to visit them. You will need minimally 4-5 days at this beautiful part of China. He also booked entrance tickets & show tickets for us, saving us queuing time. He recommended sights based on our fitness and we were seniors > 65yrs old. When we had difficulty getting a Didi ride back from the Fairy Fox show to the hotel, we just gave him a call and he was able to arrange a last minute ride back from the Fairy Fox show . We are much appreciated to Mr Zhu for his enthusiasm in providing the best service to us and all guests staying at the Pullman Zhangjiajie.

For a 5-star hotel with an International brand located in a global tourist destination, it was shocking that there was only 1 hotel employee in the entire establishment who can speak English. Not even the front desk, Concierge or employees at the bar were able to speak English. It was such a hard time communicating with people at this hotel. I understand that there is a language barrier visiting China but I honestly thought choosing a 5 star hotel that markets itself as an international brand would help bridge that gap. I was mistaken. Anyway, the hotel room is plagued with bugs. The breakfast area is always chaotic with too many people everytime. Food is okay but repetitive everyday. The only good thing about this hotel is its location as it is just nearby the east gate of the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park.

I would to warmly thank mr Franck. The cash machine stuck my crédit card juste before leaving the hotel. Hopefully, Mr Franck succeded in taking and sending my card to my new hotel. Thanks again Franck And thank you for the welcoming
