Fabulous property - very traditional decor, but very friendly staff and large, comfortable rooms. Breakfast is absolutely perfect and delicious!

Been here many times. Classy and convenient. Restaurant is outstanding. Ask for a room that is not street side for a quieter experience.

This is the second time I've stayed at the DelaMar Southport while visiting family in the area. It's an absolute joy to stay there. From our arrival to departure, everything was perfect. Parking is ample and convenient. Our greeting at check in was friendly and so efficient. The rooms are stunningly beautiful and the amenities are fantastic. Breakfast was delicious and the servers were so friendly and helpful. Every single staff member we encountered greeted us with a big smile and greeting. I guarantee that I will stay there any time I'm visiting my family there.

Very good room, service, restaurant (dinner), breakfast, etc. No complaints. That's why we keep coming back, year after year.

Was looking for a splurge hotel experience. Expensive and wouldn’t take AAA or AARP for a few dollars off. Location adjacent to interstate 95 provided intense Jake brake and engine revving noise throughout the night. Super great handicap shower (grab bars and shower wand) but no seat. Could have used that. Have to rave about the breakfast. Best I have ever had and I stay at hotels a lot. Staff was superb from the check in person to the luggage handler to the people handling the breakfast. May go back as it is in a strategic location for me but did not have adequate value for the price this visit.

Booked last minute when my daughter and I decided to check out Fairfield University over a long weekend. Exceeded my expectations and the staff was amazing. She is already begging me to go back up and stay before Christmas so we can spend the night and shop during the day. One last important thing to mention....we are celiac and the restaurant was amazing and easily accommodated our needs. This alone would make me come back as it is so hard to find restaurants that take it as seriously as they do.

Great hotel and great location for Fairfield parents weekend. Priced very high though. Next years booking was $600 more that this year. This is a huge jump.

We stayed at this hotel for my God Sons wedding as one of the two choices. I had a total of 4 rooms for my family as well. The hotel and grounds are beautiful and short walks to the quaint town of Fairfield. The artisan restaraunt is excellent and for a change of pace the Gray Goose is across the street and is fantastic as well. For drives they will all involve Highway 95 !!! Which is packed all the time. So plan accordingly.

Rooms are beautiful. Staff is friendly atmosphere can’t be beat. I would definitely stay here again The breakfast was very good and had everything you would need to get your day started.
