Great location and view and room was perfect. Bernadette serves the best breakfast!

Bernadette is fantastic, she is so kind and is so accommodating. The rooms are cozy and it felt like home. I can’t wait to visit Meredith again to stay at the Ballard House Inn!

This bed and breakfast is beautiful! The food was great, Bernadette was a great host, and the suite was so comfortable.

The innkeeper was extremely knowledgeable and helpful and breakfast was good. Our room was on a very noisy road on the outskirts of town and needs updating. There are steep stairs leading up to the inn, then more stairs required to get to the rooms. They're not safe if you're carrying heavy luggage or have an injury or disability impacting your ability to use stairs.

My wife and I would recommend the Ballard House to anyone. The facilities were spotless, and our hostess made us feel welcome from the first minute we arrived. The room in which we stayed was on the small side, but adequate for our needs. The common areas of the house are large and comfortable. Complimentary beverages, both hot and cold, were available 24/7. The breakfasts were amazing! They began with fresh fruit and proceeded to the main course, with whatever juices and hot beverages you might desire. Our first morning we had a stack of pancakes; the second a nice omelet. Alternatives/additional items like cereal, toast, etc, were available also. The wrap-around porch ends with a large deck in the back, with picture-worthy views of the lake and the surrounding hills.
