Quayside Hotel

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. However the bedroom was extremely small, wallpaper was coming of walls, sink had crack in and plug never kept water in, throw on bed was torn and covered by neatly folded towels. Booked evening meal whereupon my Husbands was lovely However mine was returned... very thin, burnt and hard one end and white sauce the Other end. The starter was prawn cocktail which was lovely but was on its own... normally wholemeal bread or a roll would come with it... all in all dissapointing as husband had meal on his own whilst I watched... the staff were very apolgetic but not good enough..

Excellent hotel with friendly staff and a great location

Great location for harbour. Breakfast was really good. Staff were friendly and helpful. We were managed to check in early by reception.

Great stay

A few days away to relax and the hotel was just lovely . Double deluxe room was spacious very clean and a fabulous sea and harbour view All of the staff that we met at this hotel were fantastic Thank you for a really pleasant stay 👍

Staff service and friendliness was excellent. This is something that I thought was lost in the UK. But here at the Quayside all the staff were professional and fabulous. Food was fantatsic although the menu was slightly limited the quality of food was excellent. Our room was spaceous and adequate but in need of updating, hopefully as the UK tourism industry gets back to normal then the Quayside will have the funds to make this possible as it was the only negative in our stay. Location was ideal. The Ernie Listers bar next door also part of the Quayside was also fantastic with equally good service. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and we would definately book here again.

Fantastic location in the centre of town with close parking. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Clean and functional rooms which were more than adequate for our needs. Will definitely return to this hotel and recommend to friends.

Fabulous views from rooms over looking the harbour & Torbay beyond. Excellent breakfast. A very good English seaside hotel. Free Hotel parking 5 minutes walk from Hotel. Directly above the harbour & 1 minute to town centre.
