"Lovely food, lovely place"

10.0

We had a lovely meal here, sat outside overlooking the river, drinks are pricey over £10 for a pint and a half, we had the burger and the Sunday roast (beef) both were really nice.

"A delightful place to stay."

10.0

We had already stayed at three other Coaching Inn hotels then we enjoyed our two nights at the Tudor House Hotel. This is in a lovely area and the hotel and town are very historic. The staff are all very friendly and helpful and the food was very good. The food was good, the beds were comfortable and everything was very clean. As the hotel is Tudor we weren't surprised that the floorboards were creaky! There is so much to see and learn in the town, especially Tewksbury Abbey, where we were lucky enough to see a choral concert given by a choir from the USA with the Cotswolds Male Voice choir. We shall return.

"Excellent First Experience"

8.0

My partner and I visited this charming hotel in Tewkesbury for the first time on 13 June for an overnight stay, as we were due to see a Concert at the nearby Roses Theatre. We were advised beforehand to arrive between 12:00 and 13:30 to ensure a car park space at the rear of the Hotel. Unfortunately nobody was on Reception to welcome us and we made our way to the Bar Area, where we ordered drinks and enjoyed an excellent meal with a friend. Reception was then manned by the Manager who made us feel welcome and showed us to our room. It was adequate, well furnished but with only a small double bed. Breakfast the next day was superb and all staff were very helpful. The hotel has a lovely ambience and well worth a visit if you are in the area. We hope to return later in the year.

Location. Parking. Staff. Special mention for Nisha, deputy manager, very friendly, helpful good sense of humour free upgrade too. Breakfast great.

Room could do with double glazing, road very noisy but to be expected. Young lady on breakfast duty really needs to cheer up.
