The Miners Rest, formerly The Radstock Hotel, near Bath

Room was spacious, comfortable and clean. Staff were helpful and allowed me to pick up the key early as I had to work at an event until after midnight.

It was an exceptionally hot day and the windows couldn't be opened far, though they are period windows. With them open and the fan on it was fine.

Too old, no lift, doors are not good

Staff were all lovely and very welcoming and nothing was ever too much to ask. Restaurant area was lovely and food was great. Breakfast was really good and set us up for the day.

It wasn't so much that we didn't like something but more of the rooms needing to be updated which I'm sure you are planning to do. We had room 1 and 2. Room 1 was huge but the ceiling is in need of repair. Updated decor required in room and bathroom. Better TV ariel needed. Room 2 was a good size but again needs updating- no wardrobe doors. No chair to sit on. TV too small and ariel wasn't good. The rooms were both clean and we would stay here again

Room was clean and tidy. I have stayed for 2 nights, but after 1 night the room was not cleaned. But the price for 1st & 2nd night was the same. On Saturday night the loud music and voices till 24.00

At that price the breakfast should be included in the price. And the noise from the bar should be finished at 10 pm, not 12 pm.
