The Miners Rest, formerly The Radstock Hotel, near Bath

The staff were the best part hands down! From the moment we arrived to the second we left. They were all attentive, friendly, and we definitely kept them on their toes with cocktails!

The facilities were a little run down, but expected from an older building. Main downside was the steepness of the stairs. Made it a little hard for someone in the party, but we will just be aware of that next time. Also the room was quite warm throughout the night and I couldn't open my window because of the street noise. With the window closed it was silent!

L’infrastructure hôtelière est beaucoup trop ancienne, la chambre laissait à désirer, très limité en terme de propreté. Il n’y a pas de service de nettoyage des chambres.

I asked the property if it was possible to check in early and they got back immediately with a response. You can check in earlier for a fee which I agreed to and I paid the extra on arrival. Saved me having to kill time hanging around and Molly was very helpful in checking me in early. 👍

The room I had was facing the main road into Bath, so it's quite noisy until late evening..

Wonderfully helpful and friendly staff. Super clean bedding and fluffy towels, and the shower was brilliant. Rainfall head plus normal head and super quick to heat up.

Smaller than usual double bed at around 4ftx6.2ft. Would probably suit 1 person or a very cosy couple. Unfortunately the room was up some steep stairs which was an issue for me with my medical issues but I did manage them slowly.
