Breakfast was basic Overall hotel was very tired, could do with refurbishment

As I am Gluten intolerant I was pleased to see that the evening menu had a fair choice for my diet including g/f beer (Peroni) and the food was pretty good with good service. The breakfast was also very good and served with a smile. The restaurant was nicely laid out and clean.

I found my room (4) to be a bit grubby with what appeared to be dirty marks on the wallpaper and the headboard had come away from the wall. The room on the whole was cold and the radiator did not work so I had to sleep in some of my clothes. I mentioned this to the staff who said they would look into it but nothing was done.

Staff were friendly and the food was good.

Room was warm but then the sun was out. The room needs a bit of an upgrade but new people have not long taken over so this is in progress.

Bar and restaurant very good

The rooms and beds need a massive upgrade.
