Was very happy with room had nice corrector liked it very much and breakfast was very good and the staff are friendly loved the stay will be back again have been 3 times so far thanks for the great service

The staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. The hotel was stunning . A 15 th century building with huge atmosphere and lovely comfortable rooms . Very welcoming to cyclists

An historic property preserved to reflect the history, eccentricity, and unique charm of Glastonbury. A super excellent staff team and breakfast!

Very good staff friendly room was great

Quirky building and room, but actually worked really well as room (four poster) just fitted the whole historic vibe of the town and exterior of the hotel , spotlessly clean, and bathroom and room itself had everything we wanted. If you are expecting a Premier Inn, this isnt for you - it creaks, its old, but thats the charm and an amazing location in the centre of Glastonbury with car park right behind. All the staff we met were friendly and helpful and breakfast was good and nice to have a relaxed late checkout at 11am.

Not sure we would revisit Glastonbury itself - location suited us as visiting places around, but the town centre and shops are very very alternative and not sure much to do, other than the Abbey right opposite the hotel, which is a little oasis.

The building was beautiful, the staff were lovely, very helpful and pleasant. Bed was very comfortable with very good bedding. Shower was excellent and we were pleased that there was also a bath. Liked the extra touches such as the tasty biscuits on the tea/coffee tray and the bottled water. Also in the bathroom the good quality hand-wash and hand cream on the pedestal basin and the same shower/bath gel, shampoo and separate hair conditioner on the bath. The location was very convenient to the main street, shops, eating places etc. etc. and the parking was very close to the back of the hotel and easy to pay online at a reasonable cost. We also enjoyed the bar meals we ate there, which were served very quickly.

However, there were a couple of niggles in our room (10) no towel rail in the bathroom and nowhere to put wash bags. The striplight above the bathroom mirror would not turn off despite there being a little pull cord and a switch on it which was unpleasant as it dazzled when putting on make up and doing hair Also black marks on the toilet seat where paint had worn off. We could also mention peeling paintwork on the windows which were also difficult to pull up and down, and ugly pipework in the bathroom and also in the bar, but we do realise it is an extremely old building which imust have been difficult to modernise. However, we were told that it is going to have a makeover soon which, whilst probably now needed in some areas, we do hope won't alter the character as it is such a beautiful old building. It is probably a very good thing that it is a listed.
