La Sommellerie

Hotel was convenient given a small town with limited options. Didn't seem to be located where we originally thought and where the booking sights indicated it was ( thought it was in the town and it was a couple miles outside, so you couldn't walk anywhere). Rooms were addquate although beds were very hard and room temperature was very hard to contol, so sleeping was hot. Staff was very friendly. Wifi was not good at all.

If you are visiting the wineries at Chateauneuf du Pape, this is a nicely located place to spend a night or two, dinner was fabulous too

This was a one-night transition stop between Macon and Toulon, and we had a morning appointment in Chateauneuf du Pape. This location was wonderfully close to CdP and the great sights at Orange, as well as the wines of Tavel. Our room had a view of the ancient chateau. The grounds are grand -- and it looks like a great business or group retreat venue. The bed was too firm for our comfort. That and not having coffee in the room (only tea) were the only drawbacks. Nice breakfast room, though we did not partake. The new owner couple will have a wonderful country inn come summertime -- they are readying the pool now!

Charming owners and staff

This was a good place for an overnight stop but is a 5 min drive from chateau euf du pape. Hotel is lovely but restaurant has a very limited menu.

The staff went above and beyond to taylor to our needs.
