The staff was very nice, but the hotel is extremely hard to get to, and when we finally found it, it was equally hard dragging our bags to our room. Food was OK. The hotel is no where near the lake in terms of walking.

Lovely hotel in a lovely area. The hotel has a great French country side feel and wonderful pol, great on a hot day. The food and wine at the hotel restaurant were fabulous as well. Highly recommended!

Fantastic hotel. beautiful grounds, great room, great staff. Lovely pool and garden to relax in. Breakfast and dinner were fantastic. About a 5 minute drive from Chateauneuf de Pape and many wineries. A perfect home base. We will stay here again!

New owners are working on it. New beds arrived as we were leaving. Worth watching as I am sure it will improve. Good local dinner.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Beautiful surroundings, friendly staff, quintessential Provencal.....this hotel absolutely exceeded our expectations. The food was outstanding.... perhaps the best meals that we've had thus far in France. Our compliments to the chef. Merci, La Sommelerie, for the wonderful memories!

Great little hotel. The room was really comfortable and the courtyard with terrace and pool had loads of character. Will definitely stay here again. If we're in the area

Pluses: pretty building; lovely pool; ample free private parking; 5 mins drive from C du P; room clean & appears newly decorated (tea making facilities & hair dryer) Downsides: - wifi so slow nothing loads - staff not helpful- no offer with bags despite one of us being heavily pregnant & having many; no instruction on wifi; no offer of refreshments or towels poolside - dinner disappointing- starters nice enough but not great, duck overcooked, sides for lamb & duck were overdone polenta & tasteless mushy aubergine- desserts surprisingly fantastic. Dinner €40 for 3 courses & choice of 3 items per course so you would expect each item to be done well! Breakfast €15- after the disappointing evening meal we didn't try it. Travelling with dog: dogs reluctantly tolerated here- they're really only happy with the dog in your room or the car park. €10/pet/day. On arrival no instructions given on where dogs allowed. We have one well-behaved dog that we keep a strict eye on & clear any mess up immediately, but the owner quickly told us we weren't allowed near the pool when we wanted to have a drink in the shade (like anyone would let their dog near the pool!) & bluntly reprimanded us for leaving mess in the garden- I suspect language barriers didnt help but the way he spoke to us was embarrassing (& unjustified!) & made us feel unwelcome enough to look up alternative accommodation (wifi too poor to find out!). No provision for you to dispose of dog dirt so you have to give it to staff!

Very nice owners and employees

A very nice boutique romantic hotel. Rooms were small but very well designed. Shower a bit small. don't drop the soap!. Restaurant very good had a delicious meal in a outdoor garden setting. Only disappointment Wifi was slow.

Only issue was noise from the road. Be sure to request a room away from the road.
