The Bull's Head Inn at Chelmarsh

The hosts, Norma and John were extremely hospitable and went out of their way to make my stay extremely pleasant. Nothing was too must trouble for them. The bar, restaurant and room were spotless. A good selection of drinks in the inn and excellent food in the restaurant with the chef happy to oblige with special requests. A great selection of food was available at breakfast. My bathroom had recently been remodelled and was excellently presented. However, there was no shaver point but Norma was happy to provide an adaptor. The only issue concerning the room was that the carpets were very sad and are in need of replacement. I would happily recommend the inn as a good place to stay. Christopher Boyle

Pros- clean, nice location, friendly staff. Cons- rooms extremely dated, tatty decor, noisy, small. Breakfast choices ok but full english pretty bad.

The room was lovely however we had an uncomfortable night due to memory foam mattress which made us hot and not very comfortable

Lovely place, lovely staff and so friendly; good food and drink; good breakfast; facilities good and handy for Bridgnorth and Bewdley. Would stay there any time. Rooms just need a bit of updating.

Room was nice and clean. Had put a fan in the room as well in the very hot weather which was superb. Very friendly welcome from owners and good breakfast. Lovely location just up the road from Hampton Loade station on the Severn Valley Railway/

Great 4 nights stay. People very friendly and helpful, great garden for food and drinks. If you are planning to hike around the area, footpaths are very overgrown in many areas, so best off walk the more popular long distance footpaths, such as the John Mytton Way

There was a mix up with the booking but the owner Mrs king sorted it out and made us feel very welcome. The food was excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful at all times. They provided us with a breakfast basket on the final day as we were leaving very early. Overall an enjoyable stay

the room was very small which was acceptable but the shower unit was unclean around the edges. Also when served breakfast the coffee pot was dirty and disgusting and we had to have it replaced.
