The Bull's Head Inn at Chelmarsh

Have to say all staff and owners could not have been more welcoming. Good selection of beers and wines and food good. The room looked out on the the main road and was very noisy during the night and early morning so not much quality sleep. Bathroom tired and water pressure in the shower was really very poor.

A very friendly place to stay. All the staff were great. The bar was busy early evening but we had no trouble getting a table to eat. The menu is pretty good with an interesting specials board. The room was cosy and the bed was comfy, though the decor and shower room could do with modernising. The full English breakfast was outstanding!!

Looked very nice from the outside. Cleanliness in the dining room wasnt good.Still crumbs on tables and floor from breakfast time when we had a meal in the evening Waitress in the bar didnt smile or welcome us. Toilet didnt flush properly, shower screen was falling off,room was tiny, Wouldnt stay again.

There were 3 couples in our group we booked 3double rooms. Mine was part of the old building with oak beams the others were 1 in a double and the other had a double and single bed in like ours. All rooms were comfortable, we did have a bit of a problem with the shower tepid water for 1of us on the first night. Breakfasts were excellent cereal, and fruit to help yourself and then a choice of a full English. Location for us was good as visiting Bridgnorth, we were able to get to Ludlow easily and had a good day out there. A family run pub they were very friendly. We also had an evening meal on the second night an excellent choice and lovely food which we all enjoyed. There was entertainment on Saturday night a singer. If you are ever in this area I would recommend staying good parking also. Wifi was a bit difficult to log into at first but was you did reception was good.

Bar area and food was great! Wifi in property good in the bar areas no reception in the rooms. Over night room was looking tied and dated especially the bathroom area. Good stay but would not pay £79 for the room that I booked again. Staff great and food was amazing

Room 6 looked nice on first impression but I found that it was very noisy both inside and out. There wasn't any double glazing so you could hear the cars going past all night long as the inn is on right on the main road. Also the car park is gravelled so again I could hear the vars crunch when they came on because the other window overlooks the car park.There is another staircase that comes straight upstairs but as there only seems to be partitioning walls separating the corridor so I could hear every conversation from people coming in late at night. Then because they have old fashioned keys the noise from the people opening and locking the door seemed to echo throughout. Overall was disappointed as the price quoted on this site ended up not being the price paid, I bought it as it stated breakfast included but was told by reception this wasn't the case and had to pay extra. Wouldn't use this place again and would be wary by using Expedia again.

We had a very enjoyable stay, and our host was always available should we needed her. Had a cracking breakfast.

Absolutely stunning evening meals, gorgeous old pub and lovely sized rooms. The family run Inn demonstrated incredible service skills, along with friendly and knowledgeable staff. Breakfast was included in the price and it was a decent spread on offer! Only a short drive from Bridgnorth and other lovely towns in Shropshire. A lovely stay.
