The staff are always welcoming and helpful. A lovely comfortable and warm room, with lots of piping hot water, we had a very enjoyable stay.

Area is lovely, great location

Bed needs renewing, mattress lumpy even with a topper. We are not big people but both sunk in the middle. Had the worst night sleep ever. Shower in the bath was fine except facing a window with clear glass and just a net curtain over it. So i did not attempt a shower. Shame cos we've been in the pub and restaurant many times with family and liked it but this has truly put us off

Basic rooms but clean and decent value.

The upper floor corridor layout and upper staircase are somewhat tricky to use and definitely not good for anyone with even mild mobility problems.

Dinner in the pub was excellent and good value

The stairs were a bit of a problem when carting up large suitcases.

Very warm and welcoming from the initial booking , really friendly land lady and staff , great advice on the local area.

Broken shower head apart from that the heating was toasty and the food and drinks was delicious.

Outdated rooms but did the Job
