The staff were really friendly. The food was lovely.

I'm sorry to write this as stayed here a few times and understand it's budget but there were more negatives than positives this time :( - None of the lights in the room worked except one small bedside light and the bathroom light which flickered continuously. - the bathroom was filthy. Pics attached. It didn't look like it had been cleaned. - the room was FREEZING. Radiator didn't work. I slept in my hoodie. - the towels etc were very old and worn. Not entirely their fault but also affected the stay. - the main bar had some really drunk people literally shouting and being rowdy (not just drunk and silly - aggressively shouting) and staff did nothing to stop it (although the guy who brought our food did apologise) . There was also a woman passed out drunk with her head on the table as we left. Didn't feel like a comfortable place to be.

Lovely cosy room, comfortable bed, great location and the fish pie was excellent

Company who owns this place needs to help the landlady by giving it a refresh, lick of paint and some investment.

room was dusty shower screen dirty generally not well maintained

Room was clean and warm

Shower was a little basic and I am not sure the bathroom radiator worked
