It was a very basic room . For $190 I would not advise going here as it's a rip off rates Hardly any parking. An the concierge was terrible. Dressed like a bum. An it put me of the place straight away. Owner need's to sell his Ferrari he has there n put it back into the building.

Great location, staff were lovely. It was unfortunate that our apartment was not cleaned very well. A dirty towel still hanging in the cupboard!

Apartment was smelly, shower was dirty, you could tell a dirty cloth was used to wipe down surfaces as it left dust trails and balls of dust on bedside table. We left and went across the road to the Quest.

Be sure to check google reviews before booking, i didnt. What a dump! Mold everywhere absolutely filthy. Last time i use wotif after this stay. Had painters coming past our bedroom on balcony while still in bed. Tv left going when we arrived. Staff walking into our room with some stranger and rude receptionist. I could keep going.

Wifi terrible, TV didn’t work at night, bed saggy, no shampoo/conditioner, shower in bath very slippery. Overall very disappointed.

Staff were very friendly. Proximity to chermside shopping centre and bus to suncorp was awesome.

For basic, great value accommodation, the Chermside Apartments fits the bill if it is literally a place to put your head down and sleep for the night. For me, it was turn up in the evening, go to sleep, shower and leave the next day to explore Brisbane over a long weekend. On the downside, there were a few stains on the carpets. The aircon remote control did not work, so could not turn it on. The TV remote control stopped working on day 2. Noting, these did not worry me as i would have otherwise brought them to the attention of the staff at that time. When I did upon checkout they were apologetic, and it was likely something as simple as flat batteries. But they really should be checked before renting the room out. There were black fabric cushions on the bed, which were the type of material that attracts dust and hair and carpet particles when dropped on the floor, which happens. They did not look clean at all so I avoided using them. Putting that aside, the location is very convenient. Quite a few car parks to use undercover that are free. For those with 4wds with roofracks etc, you are in luck, the clearance is quite high. A nice quiet location as well. No traffic noise at all at night, I had an uninterrupted sleep both nights. The bed was soft as were the pillows. Checking in was a breeze, as was checking out. Free breakfast! I do recommend Chermside Apartments and I will happily stay again. Good value, budget accommodation.
