The Chermside Apartments

Very good

Carpet on far side of room was thread bare. Near patio doors was worn out but near entrance door the carpet looked great. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean and worked well .

Room was clean & tidy even with renovations happening at the Hotel

Amazing friendly staff. Let us park our car before check-in. Very roomy. Only issues was dirty dishes were found in dishwasher. great location close to Chermside interchange great Indian restaurant below. Would stay again.

Unfortunately we had a very bad experience with this Hotel. On checkin we were advised that our 2 bedroom Apartment was not available as "someone else wanted to extend their stay". Im not even sure how this could ever happen as we had already booked and paid for our accommodation and had arrived expecting what we had booked! We were then given two Hotel rooms, which after giving all our details they said there were not even on the same floor! We went into the second room and the fan in the bathroom was on and the bed covers were back and had been used! We then went to reception and requested our money back, which was done but this left us without accommodation for the night and we then had to find somewhere in a hurry. This was very unsatisfactory and was not the way we wanted to end our great trip to Australia. We would not recommend the Chermside Apartments at all.

Excellent receptionist

We stayed in an 1 bedroom apartment which was spacious with a large balcony - the bed was comfortable - the secure parking was great, staff were welcoming & helpful. The location was a 5 minute walk to the Westfield Shopping Centre.

Great stay loved everything

After a long day if I find out the shower water is only lukewarm and then to get into bed to spend the night on a terrible mattress I will not be in the mood the rate a place highly!

When we first arrived we were pretty happy with our choice of accommodation, however, this place needs a lot of money spent on it. I, personally, witnessed 2 x complaints (although, minor) plus my mother’s room had a water leak in the kitchen. We went for a shopping weekend, and wanted quiet nights to recover! We had no working television for the first night and I’m pretty sure it hadn’t been working prior to our stay. I was told that someone would come and fix it the next day, but that was never going to happen. The following evening I requested a different room because I just wanted to chill out in front of the box, so luckily there was a vacant room, with a working television! Then I was looking forward to a good sleep and a sleep-in until having to check out….but there was no sleep-in the next morning because we got woken up to painters talking quite loudly literally right outside my bedroom on our balcony. That was the last straw for me. The cherry on top, so to speak. They really need to update their facilities. I think the new paint job is a waste, or at the very least, way too premature, the money could’ve been spent better, elsewhere first! Old tv’s in the rooms, 90’s furniture, appliances more than ready for retirement. 3 x good things: stones-throw distance to Westfield, the parking is good and next door have THE BEST Indian food we have ever eaten! I wish I could have written a better review.
