The Roundhouse

A comfortable place to stay. Limited parking. Good, peaceful neighbourhood. Walking distance to Pub & Grill restaurant which was good. Did Great white shark cage diving tour and saw many whales. A very enjoyable stay.

Visited with our 2 kids and stayed the night in the cottage. Lovely rooms and great service, let us stay late to take shower after the shark dive. All in all great place and great service.

Perfect location just down the road from the Shark Cage Diving venue, as well as walking distance from a beautiful cove for whale watching. Locate pub on the estate providing reasonable 'pub grub' and a short drive into Gaansbaai for more sophisticated restaurants. The owner/landlady of The Roundhouse was fantastic; she was friendly, knowledgeable and a perfect host.

Gorgeous location and Beautiful rooms. We were given the 3 bedroom cottage and I wasn't expecting that. It was clean, and beautiful. Would recommend anyone to stay here! We also used the hot tub at the main house and watched beautiful sunsets! Amazing place to stay!

Facilities all looked great, helpful staff but only stayed for one night, early check out before breakfast for shark cage diving

Auffallend ist die natürliche Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft des Personals und das originelle Design des Hauses. Der whirlpool auf dem Dach bei sternenklarer Nacht ist Erholung pur. Und tagsüber liegt ein Fernglas bereit, mit dem man die Wale von der Dachterasse beobachten kann.

A beautiful place, in a great location, especially if you're going shark diving in the morning. I couldn't say a bad thing about my stay, if I wanted to. Highly recommended!

The hotel owner was very friendly and told us a lot about the area and things to do. The room was very nice, spacious bathroom with bathtub, etc. There was a jacuzzi on the top deck which overlooks the ocean, awesome. There were several options for breakfast off the menu and it was very tasty! Overall, would definitely go again, the village felt non-touristy and the guesthouse was great.

We had such a good experience at The Roundhouse B&B. We booked it the morning we were going to stay there as somewhere to rest our head before going shark diving the next morning. The owner was very accommodating, especially as we arrived late, he recommended a beautiful place to have dinner as well as leaving the roof top jacuzzi on until late so we could go in after dinner. They also allowed us to come back after shark diving the next day to shower before checking out. The bed was comfy and we were upgraded to a 1 bedroom unit that had a little kitchen. The room was very clean and cosy. Couldn't have asked for anything more!
